Dramatic difference there. Congrats and good luck on the next 15 pounds.

Excellent story. You'll be thrilled when your A1C drops under 6. Mine is currently at 5.8 and hoping watching my carbs and sugar will result in better blood work next time.

Maria:Why has this scared you? Feel free to friend me and private message me about this.

I am so happy to see all of these people setting tough goals of 100+ pound weight losses. Not easy at all depending on mental health and medical issues, but it is possible for anyone who is giving it a real try to see improvement through some movement and moderate eating. Good luck everyone!

I really like the long hair look on you. Fabulous job on the 13 pounds. That is less work on your heart. Keep going!

awww, very sincere posting. Feel free to add me. I won't be food logging again until Monday, but I try to log on daily to support my friends.

I could not get the pics to work. :-( Glad to hear another success story though!

Like anything else it has to be incorporated into your lifestyle to become a lifelong habit. I've been logging since May 2012, but watching calories for 2 years.

Currently trying 9 days of 5% carbs/25% protein/70% fat and then a day at 50% carb/20% protein/ 30% fat...curious to see how this new idea goes for me.

What is slim in 6?

I honestly was not 100% sure due to the lighting and angling, but gathered it was the picture with make-up. I don't think what your co-worker said was mean since I had the same issue. What does it matter what anyone thinks anyways? Just keep on losing and being healthy. Congrats on your success!

I would suggest only having an atkins bar in your bag or car for an emergency food since becoming dependent on a meal supplement takes away from the benefits of natural, whole foods.

It really depends on your dietary needs. For me, I have a family medical history of type 2 diabetes and hypothyroidism so I have to keep my fruit at 1 serving per day which makes grapes a terrible choice for me. Do you have any sugar issues? I'd suggest lowering the grape serving rather than getting rid of them all…

My obgyn was shocked to see my bp higher than my last appointment and has suggested some intense cardio and yoga as my stress has been insane with work and personal life. Maybe lowering the red meat a bit and watching your sodium will improve bp as well.

Never gained back 2 lbs in one day while in ketosis before, but everybody's body is different. I would focus more on LOTS of water consumption and keeping with the somewhat strict macros for 5-7 days before checking your weight again.

Such a creative title. I wish you two both the best!
-
I love how the pic is of you with the size sticker still on! Awesome job-I freaked when I fit into a size 6 also down from a 22/24.

Welcome back. Gaining weight during pregnancy is fairly common so at least you did not gain 60 back from habits. Good luck on your weight loss journey!

It is hard to give concrete advice when I do not know your family medical histories, current stress levels and exactly what both of you are eating daily for comparison. Have you done any interval training on bike, elliptical, or treadmill? Not eating 3 hours before bed? Upping the amount of water you drink while decreasing…

You looked beautiful from the beginning! Congrats on your success!
-
Your jeans look very loose! Hope you are feeling the health benefits if the weight loss more so than just to look thinner. :-)
-
Such an awesome post. I'll definitely read through this information after work today. Off to cook some beef and broccoli. :-)
-
What dipping sauce did you end up using for the cauliflower poppers?
-
I definitely need to do more weight lifting. Awesome job!
-
Such a difference in the face! You are doing a wonderful job!
-
Feel free to add me, I've been in your position before and know how difficult it can be. Best of luck to you. :-)

Everybody's body is different. Many of the low carbers are diabetic, prediabetic, PCOS, or simply carb sensitive so the lower sugars and lack of simple carbs are amazing for them while others function better on say 40% carbs a day. 80% carbs sounds insane for anyone and keep in mind that no macros even for Keto is above…

Definitely net carbs due to the fiber in foods. Hope you enjoy your new carb eating plan!
