Any benefits really! Well like I said I will be doing at least 40mins walking 5x weekly. I don't want to just calorie burn, in regards to my weight while I would like exercise to help it I don't need it to "buy" me more calories, if you see what I mean. I mainly want to increase my fitness and just generally a bit more…

Eggs and tuna I find are the best way to get all my protein. You can do so much with an egg too.

Find a place in your home that is relatively flat and easy to weigh yourself in and weigh yourself there. Maybe line a corner up with something else in your home to ensure it is always in the same place. Same scales, exact same spot, same time of day (ideally first thing!), wearing the exact same thing and no more than…

Go and get a selection of nuts, seeds and dried fruit and get making your own mixes. Have a play with the flavours and textures. You could always add a few dark chocolate drops if you want a bit of "naughty".

I am down 25lbs and had my first comment from a customer the other day. Family and friends had commented around the 15lb-18lb mark, but they've been aware of what I was doing so I didn't fully believe them! I still cannot see anything in myself!

Ahh yes, I love Gin... I should imagine that's better than JD too... Just looking through the calories in alcohol and it' s a bit frightening...

Moderation is key. I have managed to lose weight even on weeks where I have eaten out or had takeaways. Just have one slice of pizza and then have a smaller dinner when you get home. The whole point of counting calories is so you can stay within you recommended amount. Although not particularly nutritional, even if you…

I always count them. Other wise I see no point in counting calories of other things. Fruit does add up. As do veggies. Also, there is such a difference between one type of fruit or veg and another it would be silly to think they are all the same when it comes to calories. That's like saying a beef steak, pork chop and…

No secret and no crash dieting. I have a lot to lose and I literally have just been counting calories. Something I'd never done before. Amazing what a difference it can make to your mindset. Thanks everyone, going to add people now :)

Thanks guys! Nothing dramatically changed, just being a little bit more sensible. I have been drinking SO much water (well much more than normal) and have benefited so much from it! For now I am just eating as normal but staying around my recommended calories and in a month or so I want to really focus on nutrition and…

Like the others suggested, I'd be inclined to freeze it!

I have found 2 litres surprisingly easy. Each morning I fill a 2 litre bottle up from the tap and as long as it's gone as my head hits the pillow at night, job's a good 'un :) You'll be wee-ing like mad though, haha!

Yeah, I would be quite interested to know whether it really helps with weight loss... To be honest though, I find drinking 2 litres of pure unadulterated water a day leaves my skin looking good, my stomach feeling fuller and my brain feeling sharper. If it does actually help my weight loss to, well that's a bonus!
