I did 30 Day Shred and Ripped in 30. I find 30 Day Shred to be more difficult, but that could have been that I was seriously out of shape when I started 30DS. I lost 3 inches off hips and waist and 1 inch off of thighs and arms. I only lost about 5 lbs, but saw such a drastic difference in endurance and lost decent inches.

Hmmm... thanks for the clarification. I definitely see the difference now. This is the beginning of what I hope to be a lifelong journey. Although Ripped in 30 came out after 30 day shred, I thought 30 Day Shred was much more difficult. I also received better results from 30DS. I lost 4 inches on my waist and hips, 2 inches on my thighs, and .5 on my arms. I think I lost like 5 pounds but I firmed up a lot and it set a great foundation for everything else…

I understand there's no way one can say with certainty, but I'd just like opinions or sharing of similar experiences. No I didn't eat 14,000 calories, but I'm also creating a deficit to lose 1 pound a week and that's not happening so I don't feel that the math is always the only thing to take into account.
