I weigh 135 and looking to get back to my normal weight of 120. I'm mostly doing this for my diabetes.

Well, pretty much I walk to the bus stop 10 minutes (just note that I walk very fast), another 10 minutes once I get off. 20 minutes of walking at lunchtime. and then 20 minutes of walking after work. OH. What do you recommend for excercise that I can fit into my daily routine. One summer, I went shopping all day. I had McDonalds for lunch (no snacking in between), and a light dinner...the next day I had dropped 10 lbs????....My body makes no sense.

It also shrinks your tummy before meals so you don't eat as much. Plus you are saving calories not drinking sugary drinks.

OKay, so BMR is the same as yours, so how many calories should I eat a day. The only excersice I do is about 30 minutes of fast paced walking.

As for you. I had the same problem...Everything these days tastes so good, so you HAVE to drink water. It will make plain food taste amazing in comparison. Plus you can eat as many veggies as you want so if you want to binge, eat a whole bag of carrots...once you lose 5lbs, youll feel more motivated to eat less.

I started my new diet based on drinking water as well....it triggered something in my brain to stop eating so much...well that and watching "you are what you eat"...that show will scare you straight for sure.

I would use whole wheat flour and then not worry about it too mcuh.

Hey...I love music too!....I just bought a fender! Good luck with the diet....it can be easy if you just keep picturing yourself at your desired weight. Plus after 5lbs of weight loss, you'll be motivvated to lose more.

yeah spitting out your food is a mix between belimia and anorexia. I wouldn't do that.

try skipping rope. It's like jogging but more fun. I hate excercise so I just dance by myself in the livingroom to good music.

lol....If I could, I would eat everything with chopsticks...once you get the technique down you can pick up grains of rice with them.

I agree...I love vegetables, and could eat a huge plate full and not feel guilty.

yeah. I'm learning a lot about food now that I'm counting calories. If you drink an ice cold glass of water before meals, it shrinks your tummy too...just another tip. I'm doing good so far though. It's been a week and I havn't binged.

I lost 4 lbs in a week just switching to drinking 8 cups of water a day!!!! If you picture how good it is for you as you swallow, it will be easier to love it.

They consume 1/4 of your daily calorie intake. I learned that the hard way...I thought the whole wheat muffin was safe. That muffin was the devil.
