The "whoosh effect"... is that when you drop multiple pounds at once after not losing any for like a month? I did that, I dropped an unrealistic amount of weight pretty much overnight, after having the scale stall for a month. Really confusing and frustrating lol.

I was able to wrap a towel completely around myself... with room left :) It used to not even close... this was a big deal to me because I don't actually see a difference in my body yet :/

I needed to read this, my scale dropped 9 lbs overnight after barely anything for over a month... I thought I was going to need a new scale lol

I wanted to make a cinnamon raisin loaf cake and almost convinced myself it would be worth going over my calorie budget. But I said NO

Love this

I use lifetrak, I got it on sale for $39.99 at walgreens but the normal price is $49.99. I like it, it has good reviews, and it's water proof :)

I take it (food grade only because the non food grade is toxic.) It's amazing. Basically it's composed of the remains of diatoms and consist of between 85% and 95% organic silica. Silica is a neccessary mineral your body needs and is ussually deficient in. It thoroughly cleans out your colen, makes you regular, strengthens…

had to peek through your other pics to see your face :) Your bone structure... in particular your cheeks :)

I'm actually opposite, I ate the wrong foods, but fed my kids a lot better, and within moderation. I'm eating like them now though lol I just didn't want them growing up with no knowledge of health and food like I did so they know how to control their own weight as an adult. I'd also like to point out though, when we go…

I can't wait till i get to your point so i can be a role model for my friends... so many of them are quick to try pills and clenses :( As of right now though i haven't lost enough for them to say oh wait doing it the right way works lol... You look amazing btw, someone definitely to look up too:flowerforyou:

The links were definitely helpful :) And I feel great about getting out there 3 times per week too, I just like having the idea of goals to work towards :) And before this I really had no idea where I stand lol
-
thank you, this is exactly what i was looking for :) one question though, does body weight include my current body weight, or what my body weight would be if I was in a good bmi range? For example lets say i was at 120 lbs bench (i'm not, no where near lol) but when I get to that point I'm actually 200 lbs, but would that…

That's mainly what I was asking for, just kind of where do I fall, and when I start lifting more, where will I fall then? Although I was hoping more of weight wise rather than time wise :/ Moreso so I can see if my progression is normal, or if I need to step it up a notch, or even if I end up rocking as a girl lifter lol…

not so much bragging, just wanted to post my successes to some of my facebook friends because several are interested in my progress... i'm rather excited how quickly I'm progressing, but didn't want people to be like oh well thats not that much lol i'm not a bragger to begin with, just wasn't sure how to say it :) Also I'd…

i do something like this with a regular potatoe, excpet i use diced tomatoes instead of corn and then top with shredded cheddar cheese... yum! i need to try it with the sweet potatoe too!
-
Thats sounds delish! never thought adding peanut butter for the sweetness...

you could try adding 2 egg whites fried in a dab of olive oil, or my personal favorite tomorrow oats instead of traditional oatmeal, you just take 1/2 cup oats, 1 container of greek yogurt, 1/4 cup milk or water (preference) mix completely let sit in sealed container overnight and enjoy cold in the morning. That usually…

So glad i'm not the only one!! i've been stuck at 200 for a month, but losing inches consistantly... i stopped losing after i started lifting so i know its just my body getting used to the new routine, but still so frustrating! i want to be in the 100's already! lol
-
That's a myth :) your metabolism doesn't slow down just because its night time  OP: 1200 is kind of low when your only looking to lose 15 or so pounds... find out what your base calorie burn is per day and give yourself about a 10% - 15% deficit at most and eat back any excercise cals, & make sure you measure and…
