ok guys thank you soooooo much for all of your advice. it seems everyone is different and i need to just assess my situation and try a different strategy and see what happens. thank you for taking the time to answer my question and it is good to hear others opinions and advice.

Welcome. I have been a member for ages but only seriously started two weeks ago. 1.5lb loss so far. i feel better wwithin myself having changed my diet and increase my weekly exercise. Everyone is really friendly and supportive so stay positive and with determination we will all achieve.
