I did each level for 10 days. Also did the workout for 4 to 6 days a week, so it took me more than 30 days. Results... I lost 7.5 inches all over by the time I finished. One inch waist, hips and thighs 2 inches in the bust 2.5 inches under the bust.

Great insight.

Hi Brian. Here is a question for you.... I know that loosing inches is wonderful, but at what point does with weight start to come off. I have about 30 pounds to loose. I have lost 7.5 inches in a month so I know I am doing something right, but when do the pounds start going away?
-
Is there a point at which the pounds come off also?

How awesome to offer help in this journey.

I learned a hard lesson with the scale..... I now take measurements to see how I am progressing. I have not lost a single pound over 30 + days of logging food and exercise, but I did loose a total of 7 inches. Of course it isn't instant since measurements should be spaced out 3 to 4 weeks. I do still weigh weekly but try…

I did each level for 10 days. I also had some knee and foot pain, so the 30 days weren't consecutive. On days "off" I ran or did a P90X DVD. Some days I just took a break depending on how I felt. I did get good results. Lost 7.5 inches total within a months time. I am wondering where to go next... Good luck.

Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred I lost 7 inches all over in 30 days.

Have been OOT 6/15 159 - small loss Have had a NSV finally - even though the scale hasn't moved much, I completed the 30 Day Shred and lost a total of 7 inches all over. That success will keep me going.

I did P90X last year for 2 weeks shy of the 90 days. Unfortunately, I didn't take measurements and I based my success / failure on the scale, which didn't budge. I did, however, get stronger as I went through the program. I quit shy of the 90 day mark due to being so discouraged since I wanted / needed to loose at least 30…

Want to follow. I have the same problem. My carbs are fruits and veggies. Very limited processed carbs (bread, pasta and rice) maybe 1 to 2 servings daily.

6/8 159.8 - So frustrated.

Working on progress pictures. Have 8 more days of Jillian's 30 DS. My highest weight after having 2 children was 170. I was able to loose about 10 pounds doing the 17 day diet (cleanse) and then gave up. Started back this February gaining and loosing the same 1 - 3 pounds until about 3 weeks ago. I am now keeping better…

Sounds interesting. Waiting on weigh in for the week to see how the week went. May have to try this.

Great Job on the cake mom!!

Maybe this will help me since the scale doesn't budge.

I was in the same boat! Counting exercise and getting confused as to eating more to loose. For 6 weeks my weight was up 3 pounds and down one. Kept loosing the same weight I had already lost. Yes it is absolutely frustrating. I was able to speak to a trainer / nutrition person that told me to eat my 1200 calories, exercise…

You are definitely not alone. I did p90x a year ago and followed the lean version and food plan for 2 weeks shy of the 3 months. This is when I gave up since I didn't loose any weight - not a pound. I got discouraged and cut way back on my exercise and tried the 17 day diet where I lost 10 pounds and then stopped.…

From 50 - 60 BPM. Looking at the post it seems like this isn't too low ;-). Wondering what target heart rate should be and if 160 is too high to reach during a workout?
-
Thanks. Don't do coffee or caffeine. Salad dressing is usually under serving size and light or FF. Will try reducing calories for a week and drinking more water. With working out should I be drinking more than the 8 8oz glasses a day? Thank you again.

Working out for 6 weeks 30 - 60 min 4 -5 days a week. Limiting processed carbs. Not seeing any weight loss. I am a 41 year old female. I am 5'1 and weigh 160. Have been trying to loose weight and am so discouraged. I try to keep my caloric intake around 1400 a day. Any ideas?

So glad to see other vertically challenged women. I am 5'2" and weigh 160. Did p90x to the T for just 2 weeks shy of 90 days and got frustrated since I didn't loose any weight. I am trying again about a year later to get the weight off. Tracking food and exercise. I am hoping that I can find the middle ground for my…

I wonder myself how people burn 1000+ calories a day. I use a polar heart rate monitor and have done p90x and never got higher than 500 calorie burn. The only thing I can come up with is that I am a short person 5'2". i also have a low resting heart rate of 51 - 56.

How wonderful!! You have done amazing things. Keep up the hard work.
