I liked my maiden name better so I changed it right after I discussed it with my (teenage) daughers to make sure it did not offend them. They asked if they could change theirs also haha... This is so personal and individual that it shouldn't be anybody elses decision or in their control!

I am so sorry you are so sad.... I lost over 50 lbs when I nearly lost my daughter in an auto accident..she was in a coma and declared dead twice...brain injury and just a horrible time....for all. My advise, take it easy on yourself, eat when you can, little bites, often and remember your brain and organs need nutrition…

That' excellent..You should try a 5k when you are ready, I did my first in Chicago and what a rush! I do a lot of little ones in the suburbs but the city ones are a blast, lots of hype! Good Luck and keep up the great work.

20 lbs is awesome, amazing and a lot of hard work and commitment! try to carry 20 lbs of bagged potatoes around...it really gives you a little perspective... be proud - I am for you!

I too had hit a plateau but kept doing the right things and now I have melted away 5 lbs in the last week and a half...it's so wierd. i did switch up calories and exercise. Hang tough - it will start coming off again. Good job on the marathon - that's awesome!
