Have you tried Kettlebell training? I've used JM's Kettlebell DVD and loved it. I've had great success with all of her DVD's. There are times that I don't feel like doing them but the results are really motivating if you stick with it. Don't give yourself the option to quit; bored or not. If you want results, you can't…

Great story. You look great. My favourite part of your story: "This journey was more mental, than physical. Don't make excuses people. This is totally do-able. Everyone has time. Don't give me that bull****, I don't have time excuse. Make time.. It's your life. We've become too lazy and make too many excuses.. Your body…

Yoga mat and hand weights. I use 5 pound and 10 pound weights for some of the big muscle groups. You may want a set of 2 or 3 pound weights depending on your fitness level. Jillian doesn't give you water breaks. If I need a water break or a quick recovery, I pause the DVD and take it. This won't improve your endurance as…

I used to suffer from shin splints and I've had knee issues. The knee problem was actually caused by a hamstring injury. My chiro fixed it for me and suggested that I stretch my hamstrings and inner thighs before the run (after a short warm-up). I also bought Mizuno running shoes and I don't think I would ever use another…

You look great. What type of workouts have you been doing?

Make sure to increase your calories every 3rd day. Example: Day 1 1300 cal, Day 2 1200 cal, Day 3 1800 cal, and repeat. Be sure to add some resistance training as well.

Buy the Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, some hand weights and a mat. That's all you need to get started and you will be amazed with the results.

Thanks for the great advice. I really like #3.

Week 2 of MFP and loving it. I am going to stick with it. I need to lose as much weight as I can before the 15km trail ride on June 9th; I don't want to break my horse's back! I am hoping that each of the 4 horses will be worked 3 times this week-with some time in the ring as well as on the trail. I am going to force…
