DVD recomendations

I seem to be struggling to find an exercise DVD I like for home. I am a stay at home mother so getting to the gym isn't easy and I live in a small town that doesn't really have many classes anyway. I used to be a big gym person, years of aerobics and am just not interested in the typical classes anymore so while I bought some of the Turbojam videos, I'm just not into it at all, not that she isn't great but that I just lost interest in those types of classes. I just don't like mimicking things if that makes any sense, like kickboxing - I prefer to really go to a martial arts class, ride a real bike not a stationary one, etc. but I have to find a way to exercise in my home now. I'm trying to find a DVD where I feel like I'm learning something or mastering an art form.
When I did go to the gym I really did like Zumba so I bought a DVD but seems really dated and they lose me with the country dance section too. How fun it was to learn some dance moves but I don't know what DVD to try to buy next and don't want to waste money again so hoping for some recommendations.
I also used to love Yoga and Pilates. The whole tapping into your core, breathing, relaxing while getting toned feels like an art form to me. I also used to love lifting weights.
I tried the 30 day shred. I thought maybe a shorter video I wouldn't get so bored with but while it's a great workout, it doesn't hold my interest either. Maybe I just suck at doing home DVD's. At the gym I do the whole class but at home I lose interest.
Anyone have any recommendations for something I should try? What is the best Zumba DVD? I was looking at Les Mills Pump, Insanity? What DVD's are out there that make you feel like you are acquiring new skills? are motivating? are fun? I want to want to do home DVDs but I haven't found anything that does it for me yet.
Thanks in advance

Have you tried Kettlebell training? I've used JM's Kettlebell DVD and loved it. I've had great success with all of her DVD's. There are times that I don't feel like doing them but the results are really motivating if you stick with it. Don't give yourself the option to quit; bored or not. If you want results, you can't have any excuses. Suck it up and just do it. What's 20-30 minutes out of your day?0

I like DVDs, but when I got sick of all of mine, I got a punching bag and now I can just punch and kick the crap outta that when I want some at-home exercise.0

go on line and look at the excercise videos on youtube. I do Leslie Sansone's walk fit and trim. You might get a bit bored wiht it,but shehas a lot of it on line as well .I bought the firm tapes, and they do it all and I am not very coordinated, and it uses thestepper, weights and all and then the execises with the big ball. Just rotate what you want and don't do the sme thing twice. go on line and you can do the programs for free. Some are like 20 to 46 minutes. I have the old Richard Simmons and I do him in between all the other ones, and I too bought the shred tape. It is a killer and is short and sweet.
And find someone around you in your town other moms that want to exercise too and do the buddy system, as that helps motivate you as well.
So don't stay stuck. cause stuck means going nowhere fast and only begets more lbs, the more we get stuck.. Lots out ther to make it fun and interesting. loose weights, the ball, the stick, and mini rebounder. Now that routine is tough.
If you think you can do the insanity, go for it. Buy on E-BAY. way less expensive for the DVD's. they have the beach body one and some varieties that are shorter than that whole set.. Hope this helps.. Doing noting gets nothing accomplished..
You can do this.. That is why you wrote and asked for suggestions.. hope to see you post when you get on with it .
PS you can find the insanity in parts on youtube as well. You go girl!!0
