I do, but I'm used to doing four day splits with much longer sessions. When I have time I do another day of glutes, and maybe shoulders and core. I run and walk, maybe do some HIIT every week, too.

Don't take advice from anyone except your doctor and/or dietician right now, please.

I lost more than 60 eating more than that. Your body is not getting enough fuel.

^^ This ... but I gain for both. Yay. About anywhere from 2 to 8 pounds each time.

Total myth.

Please don't lower your calories. Just make sure you are at the right calorie level for your activity. If you haven't already, check out the group on here called Eat More To Weigh Less. Once you cut calories, your body will gain at a normal caloric level. I also eat primarily vegan, and live in San Diego  ... the…

You look amazing! Really great work. My lifting gets a little convoluted, too, because it helps me to prevent workout boredom. When I get too crazy, I just go back to compounds and a few added supersets for certain areas. I can't imagine where you're going to lose an extra 20 - 30 lbs from though. You look just…

Going low carb really effects my energy level. Did you guys find that? I don't know if I could train at under 100g's.

I wish I could see these forums on my phone app! Thanks for all the good information. I will check out that spreadsheet in more depth. :) Oh, and @amanda_gent ... seriously, it's not always like that. I have many slug-like periods! (Like right now.) It's all about finding the activities I like, then I'm just playing and…

You can do whatever you want to do! That's the point of this whole website: Find your personal goal and achieve it. Jennifer Garner says she won't lift heavy because she "bulks up too easily" ... which I find silly, but she looks all ripped up. It's just a matter of diet really. I have a friend who looks soft and in great…

@heybales -- Wow! So much thought went into that, thank you. :flowerforyou: I did eat at TDEE for a long time, and I did gain about 3 pounds at the upper end (which have since left the building). So, my max was about 2500. I really don't drop below 1500 ever, and that's only briefly or for sick days, things like that. So,…

Indeed! I am the maintaining queen. I may have to COOK more. Oh for the love of all that is holy! A fate worse than death. :noway:

That's really hard for me to do. My body really seems to need them when I train hard. I keep thinking I need to drop my calories, but that's hard, too. By hard I mean not difficult, but I lose energy.

Clips go in your hair, not in your weapon.

That is the best thing I've ever heard! I wanna go.

Beast mode. Always.

Bump!

This! That's the only bra I can wear comfortably that looks okay. I wear them for running and other high impact like jumping rope, box jumps, etc. I get mine from Title Nine. They can be a little pricey, but they have a "bounce" scale so you can see what you need. Plus, they have an amazing return policy (up to a year,…

Yes, as long as it's going down I guess that's all that matters ... Shark tank? Thanks.

Pointed toes!

You can add me, too! :)

I agree to make sure you have good shoes ... but also make sure you are using the right type of shoe. Some stores that sell running shoes will analyze your style for you. A lot of time that pain can be relieved by foam rolling. I had a friend ask me the same thing and I showed her how to roll it out. The pain may seem like…

I have done a mud run! I did the Camp Pendleton 10K mud run in June. It was the MOST fun, and I highly recommend it. We didn't run for time, we ran to get as dirty as we could possibly get. But, of my team of five, only one ran it. I hear you on the flakey doodles. I won't be a team captain again (that's not the…

I'm sorry you have Chron's disease. I know that is really hard. All the more reason you need to find balance and let it be okay to rest. It sounds like money is tight, too, but if you can investigate homeopathic or holistic supplements those are very helpful. There are things that you can take, some not very expensive,…

Your body is telling you to rest. It's okay to do that. But, if you're that sore and tired, it might be worth checking your iron and vitamin D. Not to mention, all of the things people say about "you can sleep when you're dead" is nonsense. Rest a little, work on sleep, give it a few days, and then start back but go…

Bump ... oh thank goodness!

NO way ^^ that is right. I lose muscle when I do too much cardio or if I eat and don't exercise, or even if I train too much without eating enough. I haven't been at 6% body fat since I was a fetus.
