  • In that case, I get my work-out in after about 3 minutes, cuz that's about how long it takes me to become a sweaty beast. :/
  • Let's see your arms! Hard to tell with the way you're holding the camera, but I thiiiiiiiink your arms look more toned for sure!
  • The only way I'm getting away with it at work is by actually raising money. Thus, it doesn't really count unless you do. While we're on the subject, mustache rides for cancer! ;)
  • You WILL not succeed as well as me if you don't do everything the EXACT way I did! :P
  • Zombie plan: move to Madagascar.
  • I would absolutely believe that your personal appearance, not just weight and muscularity will make a huge difference in getting any job. If you think back to any job-hunt sessions about how to handle yourself in an interview, they tell you to project confidence, be up-beat, energetic, and enthusiastic. All of these are…
  • Your minutes per mile doesn't relate very well to your endurance time. For example, I could bust a nut and easily run a six minute mile, could I do it for 2 or more? Proooobably not. You should instead concentrate on going the distance you want to achieve, and slow build your time towards it. The idea is to work your…
  • You KNOW you want an ICE CREAM SAMMICH! :D
  • This reminds me of my very first post asking why people follow caveman diets when we no longer socialize like cavemen :P All the same, pretty smiles make me weak in the knees. Subtle talk and wit will win me over :D
  • This begs the question... What would you do for a Klondike bar? ;)
  • You've misquoted a few facts. First off, the colour indicates ONLY the relative concentration of minerals in your piss. You could theoretically get a darker color just by taking too many multi-vitamins. Clear piss can also indicate a vitamin deficiency, as your body holds on to every last bit it can. And the kidneys filter…
  • Yahoo lies. Half the nutriotional information they quote isn't even correct.
  • In highschool? Personal finances for sure, and not just how compound interest works, like accounting and wealth growth and debt management. I really think gym/health should be mandatory the whole way through. And get the gym teachers to have legitimate training/nutriotion certifications. More involved career selection…
  • Why exactly was dairy-free recommended? There are better ways to discover lactose intolerance. Also, if that's the case, you can still have dairy, just not lactose free. Anything else, there isn't much real evidence to not include dairy besides acne concerns and/or a vegan/paleo diet. Beware teh pseudosciencez!
  • It's not really enough to be worth logging. You might burn 200 over an hour. About the same as free-weight exercises. Values would probably be higher if you did them in a circuit fashion too.
  • No Sarah! But if you insist, I must ask you to kindly send me all your leftovers! :D
  • Joint problems should be discussed with a doctor/trainer/physiotherapist. I don't think most of us here are qualified to make an over teh internetz recommendation on what to do with knee problems :P
  • Google confirms your answer Jeff. Thanks! Agree with what you're saying about the training too.
  • I'd study the free-running techniques and try to spot auxillary exercises to incorporate. 8' wall though, I'd expect either there to be a rope, so pure back climb, or not, which means a jump, grasp, and lift are involved. If the second scenario, explosive jump training so you can make the distance, and then whatever that…
  • Hold up. If you know you're losing fat weight and gaining muscle, what's the problem? Pure weight loss shouldn't be your goal! Do what you're doing; lose the fat, gain the muscle!
  • A bit of tentative research on teh interwebz makes it seem like jasmine *does* mess with your gut bacteria a bit when consumed on an empty stomach.
  • Haha I'm not worked up, I just tend to get a little wordy :P
  • And here I was thinking you just messed up some other acronym
  • I don't quite get what you are asking. *insert steam coming out of ears here* For sure only do exercise levels you are comfortable with, but you DO have to push a little bit to make progress. Other than that, are you asking how to split up your workout?
  • Anecdotal evidence is TERRIBLE for helping people get into shape. For example, no one can argue that Mike 'the sitch' isn't in great shape, but I doubt his methadologies for getting in shape would work for everyone. Maybe this guy found it important to cut black pepper for whatever reason. The only downside I see to black…
  • http://lmgtfy.com/?q=black+pepper+wiki&l=1 Great resource guys.
  • It depends on what your goals are. If you want weight/fat loss, you need to burn the highest number of calories, which means picking an intensity you can maintain for a long enough period of time to burn the calories you want. Really, what you need to do is decide how many calories you want to burn, and then decide whether…
  • Viking man over here knows! You're gonna braid that eventually right? :P

  • You're talking about denaturing protein, which is ok. If denaturization destroyed protein, then you couldn't get any protein from cooked meat or fried eggs. Pretty sure heat is added when protein bars are made too. I think the cut-off for destroying whey protein is like 70C. Sooo just don't add it to boiling tea water.…
  • Ehn, baby steps I suppose. It's very sad to think that we have to consider raiding people's pockets in order to make them eat healthier, and it really does not address the underlying problems of why/how people get fat in the first place.
