  • That is why I want to wait. I do not want to see a free doctor and then have trouble with insurance later when I try to get onto my new plan. I was not laid off, I've made a career change. I have been stressed. I recently had a home invasion and I had to be put on xanex to sleep. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
  • Thanks Chuck! I do have one cup of tea in the morning but that is it. Plus it started before I even made my tea this morning. :ohwell:
  • I do not smoke. I am 153 lbs and 5'4 and have just recently put on that weight, maybe that has something to do with it. But I am only 23. I need to look at free options I guess. Sometimes it is so back I can hear the 'thump thump thump' in my ears, but then it goes away right away.
  • Sorry, that was meant to be a post of a RED FLAG. Sounds like he is being a jerk.
  • Why do you have to eat your exercise calories?
  • Cut out meat for a while, it lingers in your system and can cause the pooch below your belly button. • So it is okay for school to offer poor choices? It is okay for schools to take the cheap way out? It is not wrong to blame schools for part of it. I knew many children in poverty whose parents both worked hours which prohibited them from making breakfast and dinner. They would get breakfast (crappy high-fat meal) from…
  • Jennifer - I don't think it is 100% the parent's fault. Many have trouble making the time or money to feed children well. But parents do lead by example. A parent with the respect and control of their children can do a better job of influncing their kids when they are not there, like at school. But many parents would…
  • april - I'm not just blaming the schools but I think that is a big factor, especially because parents have less control when a child eat outside of the home. Schools should offer least choice in cases where they can only afford poor choices. Offering fast food to children every day is unacceptable, in or out of school.…
  • Well, if you really want to know.... You can certainly tell the difference if you decide to go for fast food or a high fat meal. You definately pay for it "in the end" But for me, that is a huge motivation to avoid such meals. Sorry if that is TMI!

  • I used to keep a granola bar in my desk for just this occassion. When someone offered me a snack I could just pull it out, hold it between myself and the offending snack, and say "No thank you! I'd hate to waste my snack for today!" (This was whether I was actually eating it or not. I would also sometimes bring it to the…
