  • I use two kinds of protein one with carbs for breakfast and one without the rest of the day. I use Optimum Nutrition Oats and Whey for Breakfast and then a plain Optimum Nutrition Double Chocolate for afternoon snack. I get the first two from Vitamin Shoppe the have an online site also if you do not have them locally.…
  • I don't think that I posted last week which is good because I was gone most of the week. But this week I will go for 70 miles. Congratulations SPYGUY on your achievement that is huge.
  • Sorry for not posting week five results I just got back in town and did not meet my goal of 30 miles only did 20. However, for week 6 I will set my goal for 70 miles.
  • Last weeks goal 60 actual 68 This weeks goal will only be 30 as I am going to be gone for five days
  • Thanks, for your advice on this. I read yours and Skywalkers postings often and have tried to set an end of summer goal of over a hundred miles for a week. I do compete against my previous time and try to do better every day. I guess I really already knew those factors played a role in it but just did not really think it…
  • Just a question for anyone. I am looking to see what an average pace for a mile time would be for a beginner and lets say a ten mile time. Right now I am doing eight miles in about 28 min and I have completed a 20 mile ride in a little over an hour. I have been riding for about three weeks maybe four tops and I am trying…
  • I am really feeling inspired to break a 100 miles per week like some of you. I pledged 55 miles this week and have already completed them. I have always enjoyed riding but never on a road bike, now I can't get enough. I look forward to reading everyone's posts almost as much as going for a ride. I am so glad that my friend…
  • Some great miles were posted, and I know that I won't be down next week I rode half my miles today and plan on doing more tomorrow if the weather holds out.

  • Hello, I am relatively new to MFP and I have enjoyed reading many of your posts and profiles. I have gotten with Spyguy and I would like to contribute 50 miles this week and hopefully more in the near future. I am new to biking and just bought my first road bike Friday. What a ride, I can not wait to hit the road each day.
