  • Agree you should seek help from a professional. You mention trying to get outside as much as possible. What if you put a pause on gym time and go for walks. You can keep good pace and burn a decent amount of calories.
  • 7 pounds up from when I stopped tracking a year ago AND 32 pounds up from my weight when I was married (6 years ago) - my precious goal weight. It’s easy to start with a negative mindset when I see past weight on here! I can do it! ? And you can too!! ;)
  • Finding the time to make the right choices. I work full time and have a four year old son. Between commute time and wanting to spent QT with him at night before bedtime, it’s so hard to take the time to cook and prep healthy meals + be physically active. By the time he is asleep, I am exhausted!

  • Definitely buy a heart rate monitor! I can't work out without my Polar HR watch. I've been so surprised by how much certain exercises really get my heart rate going to burn more calrories. I can burn as many calories now doing weights that really exerting myself on the elliptical.
