I never claimed a degree, nor did I tell her how much she should be eating based on an estimate from an ONLINE CALCULATOR. I told her she should see a dietitian, because she's not going to get the right answer in here. You told her she should eat 2200 calories a day, based on zero knowledge of her body composition.

No, you don't need to "net" 1200 calories. My dietitian told me DO NOT EAT BACK EXERCISE CALORIES. Not to mention the calorie burns on MFP are high anyway. You need to ask a professional. Remember, you get what you pay for, and free information in a forum is going to get you exactly what you pay for.

As far as weightloss goes, no. Caffein is a stimulant. It is, however, bad for your teeth. It will stain them and cause decay. Not to mention coffee breath is the worst. Just brush after you drink it. :wink:

This is the part that motivates me the most. I am morbidly obese, and a lot of general movements "hurt". But when I see those people pushing up a mountain, or pushing themselves up a stair climber, I think to myself "you can go harder, you aren't going to die" when I am working out. It's very inspirational.

I kind of wondered if they set themselves up for failure by doing things they wouldn't be able to do for the rest of their lives. Or if it burns them out so bad they just give up when the contest is over.
