I have been doing crossfit for almost 3 years. Its not a fad. Trying to beat personal times is what keeps me motivated. Crossfit saved my life!

Listen to your body. If you feel like you need three days then take it. Just make sure you watch what you eat. Your body needs time to recoup. That is how you build muscle, and muscle assists in loosing weight, etc.

I’ve experienced good success so far with abs, of course it’s not enough, but I’m working on it. I'm sure you already know what needs to be done. My diary as of late has a few snacks listed, but I'm working on that too. Add me.

Welcome BigJon. Don't make excuses. Make *kitten* happen. I was the same way. My wife brought the junk home...i ate it. Now I just wag my finger and let that mess mold. Shame on her...lol.

Everyone should have a "cheat Day." Consider the dinner with your friend a cheat day. Don't go overboard with it. Prepare your body for it. Make sure you do extra cardio the rest of the week.
