15 lb challenge

A very good friend of mine text me this week. He is challenging me to lose 15 lbs. The first to lose wins. Problem is I'm on a high protein diet. I do crossfit as opposed to regular cardio or weigh training. Since I started MFP in May '12 I have lost weight, and gained weight due to the high protein. However, I have lost inches everywhere. My body fat has lowered, and one can see a significant difference. I did not think about this when I accepted the challenge.

The only addendum, if you will, that I added to the challenge was 15 lbs or shredded. Any suggestions on how to move forward, at least with shredding?

Need some more info on your diet... Is it high protein, low carb, low fat? Do you carb cycle? Any particular nutrient timing protocols in place?

I definitely say you're making the right choice by going for "shredded" vs. losing 15 lbs... especially if you're already fairly lean.

High protein, fairly low carb, not as low as it should be. I dont cycle anything. I try to eat healthy, veggies, lean meat, whey protein shakes with a little dairy. No supplements.

I have a few trouble spots, around my pecs and belly that are the slowest to shred.

I'm not going to say I'm "fairly lean" at least not in my eyes. I need to lean out more. The muscles are there, I need them to pop!
