How many rest days?

I've been making great progress with my workouts but now I'm feeling really fatigued. I've been doing Bar Method classes 5 days a week and run/walks 3 days a week. I take two days off every seven days but never two on a row.

Should I just push through the muscle fatigue I am feeling (no pain and no feeling as if I might get injured) or should I take three days in a row off to get a good rest? (what I feel like doing :)). The other issue I am having is a lot of fluid retention which I believe is due to lactic acid buildup.

Would love some of you thoughts. Thanks.

Are you eating enough calories to fuel your workouts? If not you either wanna eat more, or workout less. Also, low carb diets can have that effect to.

I workout 5 days a week, 45 minutes each. Rarely do my 2 rest days go back to back, and I feel fine. Well anyway like I said I'm willing to bet that you're just not eating enough food to fuel your workouts.

This link can help you find out what your maintaining calorie intake level is. I eat at a -10% calorie reduction which leaves me at 1950 calories. I can eat that much and still manage to lose body fat and lose inches. I think this calculator might be of great use to you.

Listen to your body. If you feel like you need three days then take it. Just make sure you watch what you eat. Your body needs time to recoup. That is how you build muscle, and muscle assists in loosing weight, etc.
