I have dinner around 6:30 (when I get back from the gym), but I'll usually have a mini-meal or some sort of dessert with coffee at around 8:30 PM. Otherwise I'll be hungry and grabbing a snack at midnight when I go to bed, and ain't nobody got time for that.

I present to you the entire contents of my food consumption from yesterday. I'm starting the habit of snapping a pic, because a) food is pretty and b) I'd forget what I ate otherwise. 1. Breakfast: Eggs benedict with hash browns (Avo and bacon tucked in there somewhere) 2. Snack #1 3. Lunch:Salmon, veggie stirfry in…

Lol this is great

Oh my word..sweat pants? Sweating?? What kind of planet are you living on? Never happens around here. Side note: this may be a case of correlation does not equal causation, but it appears to me that the posters in this threat that a) have no observations or b) have a problem with OP's judgements actually look like they…

I'm 5'1, and my range is 95-100..I would say I am an anomaly though, because my bone structure is extremely small compared to the average person (along with size 5 feet..lol). That is the range where I can comfortably stay at while lifting heavy 2-3 times a week and a generally healthy diet, except for the weekends.…

Ain't nothin wrong with working the treadmill... And glad you ladies agree! There must be something wrong with me...walking around in a gym doesn't warrant a change of gait. It takes extra time to strut, and I need to get the squat rack before the guy wearing his circulation-cutting under armor shirt gets to it.

Green smoothies are great snacks! Even my junk-food loving fiance enjoys this one: 1 frozen banana 1 cup almond or coconut milk 2 tbs Peanut butter or almond butter 1 tbs cocoa powder 1/2 avocado couple handfuls of spinach Ice It's pretty large for a snack, but it meets my energy/calorie needs as we're very active. It…

I prefer men but even I would check that out  Straight girls can appreciate a nice butt, too, ya know

Absolutely not. I'm an inch taller than you, and couldn't lose at 1300-1400 calories with heavy lifting. The scale started to move when I bumped the calories up to 1700-1800, and I went from 150 or so to 98. This is low for some, but it's perfect for my frame. I recently got my BMR tested professionally, at it's at around…

Looking is fine..but God help them if they interrupt my workout  But honestly, I have tunnel vision in the gym. I put on my giant headphones and pump my iron like there's no one else in the room. Do I sometimes notice people staring? Sure, but it's a biological impulse on their part, so I don't let it bother or…

I'd say it took about ten pounds for my family to notice, and 20 for the rest of the world...That being said, I'm very petite..not just in height (5'1) but in bone structure-I have the smallest bones. Plenty of people can fluctuate 5-10 pounds without a huge difference, but it's very apparent on me. So all in all, I…

I carry raw as well as dark chocolate covered almonds in my purse at all times, (especially for light-headed emergencies!). I also pack an apple with couple of hard boiled eggs to have as a snack in between meals at work. However, my breakfast is quite substantial with plenty of fat and protein (Usually a couple eggs, half…

I also haven't had time in the mornings to cook breakfast...usual meals for me: 2 hardboiled eggs, half an avocado, smoked salmon Green protein smoothie (I make these in advance and freeze, they just thaw while I'm working out): 2 frozen bananas, 1 scoop vanilla protein, 1 tbs almond butter, almond milk, coconut oil. If…

You are an incredible human being. That's all :drinker:

5'1 and eating around 1900-2000 calories! Mind you, this is in conjunction with heavy lifting. I started my weight loss eating 1300 calories and doing only cardio...wasn't losing and felt faint all the time, so had to bump it up to 1600-1700, switched over to lifting and lost the rest of the weight that way. Everyone is…

I'd rather be the whole donut

Sheer vanity at first...but that made me approach it the wrong way, personally. I wanted to burn as many calories as possible and just spent my days on the elliptical and treadmill (which I DETEST). When I got into lifting the lightbulb went on and I focused on reaching my fitness goals rather than focusing on the scale.…

You absolutely need more protein and fat...I don't see a single substantial source of energy in there. With a low calorie goal like that, you really do need to be more particular if you want to feel full and function normally. I used to have oatmeal, pb, and a bunch of fruit for breakfast, but was always shaky. Switched…

I logged for the first time in a long while. Mostly out of curiosity...my family has a bizarre tradition of food challenges on Christmas Day (after all the regular festivities and eating, mind you). I wanted to see how many calories 20 donuts were. I won, for the record. I never want to look at krispy kreme again. Not…

I'm guessing you're net calories are far too low, especially considering your daily running and height. It's best if you calculate your TDEE accurately and go from there. As a reference I'm 5'1 and had to bump my intake up to 1800-2000 when I wasn't losing at 1300-1400. (Though everyone is different, and my calorie goals…

Of course, because fruit in general has magical fat-burning qualities. All clean food does, regardless of the calories.
-
Good lord I don't know how I'd survive. I eat fruit in mass quantities (because it's always fresh where I am) in addition to full fat milk and the regular coke. Never got in the way of my weight loss.

Sugar is sugar is sugar.

I'm also 5'1! I did the opposite of what most people are saying...stayed away from all treadmills and stairmasters...I found that cardio did nothing for the shape of my butt! Ditched cardio completely, and hit the squat rack hard. Lost 50 pounds with just heavy lifting and am finally pleased with the shape of my butt. I do…

Yes, though the phrase is usually used out of context and far to widely. My sister has the same bmi as me, though slightly taller. Though we have similar weight to height proportions, she has a medium frame while I have a small frame (wrist test-hers do touch barely while my fingers overlap). Because of this, she's usually…

Oh gosh another one of these...I really should read the threads before giving a serious response.

If squats made *kitten* big then I don't know how the hell I'm a size 0. Not glorifying the size, just in my experience the weight loss shrunk my behind overall, and the squats gave it a rounder appearance. Squats and lunges (heavy) never once interfered with me shedding weight overall, including my behind. Fitting clothes…

He has about 105 pounds on me...literally. He also stuffs his face like a maniac. But he has a ridiculously low body fat so...muscle for the win!
