My BF is skinner then me. He eats what ever he wants and doesn't gain a pound. Was seeing if anyone on here has the same problem as me. Thanks!!

My hubby is like 5'8-9(to my 4'11) and has almost always weighed less than me since we've been married. The skinniest I've been was at 19 when we first got married at 118, the BIGGEST he's been is maybe 135-140 if he's lucky lol He has a very low bf% and you can see his muscles at all times even though he doesn't do any actual form of workouts... buttface!!0

Mine was... It was a HUGE milestone for me when I finally weighed less than him. He gets away with eating any and everything too, but he's also very supportive of my diet.0
-
I wouldn't say it's a problem per se. My significant other is larger than me but started watching what he eats more closely and gave up pop and has lost a considerable amount of weight... kinda frustrating but I'm proud of him0

My SO was. And it was because he barely ate any food. He just isn't a food person.0
-
He used to be, but I fixed that by losing 129lbs0

Yes. I am 3x the size of my wife. Looking to reduce that to 2.5x!0

Yep. Lots.0

You know, I'd say we are almost the same! He is 6'3 and 190... eats ANYTHING!! But after living together for over a year now its because he doesn't eat often. I have met a lot of guys who eat whatever and never gain, but then ask them how many times they eat per day!? My fiance will say hes not hungry alllll day, then at like 8 o'clock eat half a pack of oreos. XD
But yeah, I use to be 215 but now we share sweat pants.... well... I take his sweat pants.. and basketball shorts... lol!!!0 -
Yes he is. He eats whatever whenever and barely puts any weight on. He never exercises either. He used to be overweight most of his life and the last 5 years he's been smaller. He is a diabetic and that plays a part also.0

My husband is technically bigger than me but has also always been slim. He is 6' 180lbs, when we met he was 165lbs. His change has been muscle instead of fat though over 16 years. He eats non stop and most people think he is "naturally thin" but he is very active (contractor) and loves healthy foods.0

We weighed the same for a while but he's put on a few (needed to) and I've lost a few (also needed to).0

Not anymore.
I finally weigh less than he does by just about 20 pounds.0 -
my ex was 373lb when he started on MFP.....now he's lost about 160lb and looks way better....
I don't have a SO right now.....and I don't plan on having one for a lonnnnnnng time to come!!!...lol0 -
Yeap - he's around 175 @ 5'7".... right about where I want to be0

Use to be- now he's like 35 lbs heavier than me (I lost weight, he didn't gain). But I know what it's like. That was one of my milestones- weighing less than him! LOL You can do it!!!!0

At the start of our relationship he was 140lbs and I was 205
We both weighed 150 at the same time, I made him drive me to the park and play on the see-saw (or um teeter totter or whatever you call it in your country) it was so awesome to finally for the first time in my life not be the one who is doing all the work! haha0 -
I don't have one. But when I was married, ex husband was a competitive powerlifter. At 240+ pounds of solid muscle, he was never skinnier than me, but he was in terrific shape, and I was fat.0

Mine is!!! He is pretty slight though has muscles, a physical job and plays league squash 4-6 times a week and walks the dogs too!!! for years I was always 1/2 stone less than him and we both slowly went up as we got older but then he stopped and I carried on. It will be a great day for me when I weigh less than him again, even though it is only a few pounds off, I really cant work out how to get there!0

He used to be, but I fixed that by losing 129lbs
This. When I met him, he was extremely fit and I was overweight. Then I lost weight and fixed that problem.0 -
My husband is smaller than me, but is by no means skinny, lol. He was 140lbs when we married, and put on about 80 since then. He used to stay skinny no matter what, but he is not as active as he once was, and has a very stressful job. He's still my sugarbear honeybunch puppypie :smooched:0

Yep. My hubby is tall and lean and can eat whatever garbage he feels like gaining nary a pound. However, because we've both seen the lightbulb and started to eat healthier for the good of our bodies... not just weight... he is eating better right along side me... he just gets to eat more of it. Don't you hate that? lol He works out 1x/week.... I work out atleast 4. Oh well... good genes. I hope my future kids inherit his and not mine0

He has about 105 pounds on me...literally. He also stuffs his face like a maniac.
But he has a ridiculously low body fat so...muscle for the win!0 -
Thanks for all your comments! My bf can eat so much and gains nothing. Its stressful sometimes when I'm trying to lose weight and he can just eat fast food. I know I'll be able to lose the weight just gotta give it my all!!. If you don't mind I'm gonna add some of you or all of you gals/ guys.
Keep up the great work!0 -
He has always been heavier than me, but I used to be 221 lbs when he was 250 lbs. I was really ashamed of that because I am shorter (so therefore, I would say he was skinnier due to height). Now I'm 130 lbs while he is 240 lbs. I like saying to him, "I'm 100+ lbs lighter than you!" lol.0

My wife has always been lighter and skinnier than I.
I used to be able to eat all I wanted. At approx. the age of 50 (2002), that changed. By 2010, I was 40 pounds over my High School graduation weight. That is when I started to modify my eating behavior (portion size and quality of the food).
I planned and took 2 years to drop the 40 pounds. I've been "around" (ok a lb or two above mostly) my High School graduation weight for almost 2 years now.
The key: modify your eating behavior. Easier said than done.0
