If you work in a doctors office you probably should not be bringing in nuts of any description because of possible patient allergies? Do the smoothie/protien shake thing, or find a new job.

Not really a chip person - but yes that does look like a good time. Ahem - anyway, red wine, wheat beer, and dark chocolate... ETA - Pastry - as in bakery fresh

I find scale based goals depressing - I don't want to be defined by the number on the scale. So I have "Fitness Goals" instead, I figure that if I meet my fitness goals and eat a healthy diet in order to fuel myself efficiently then the weight will come off as I go. One of my fitness goals is to run - I set distance goals,…

I love some green teas (all brands taste slightly different) and I add 1 tsp of local honey - Yumm! But ClassickQC is right - don't force yourself to drink it if you hate it. I have read that you need to drink 4 green teas a day to reap it's health benefits, and that's alot of tea if you hate it.

My daughter bikes with me while I run too - or she scooters, but hates when I do the trail portion of my run! lol

My 9 year old daughter does competitive swimming - so when I go to the pool with her I am actually swimming laps, and log it as such.

I am not trying to be rude and apologize if this comes across as insensitive, but I am genuinely curious... What does SID have to do with what you eat? BTW - Great progress you look awesome.

If your knees and shins are bothering you - you need to look at your form and your shoes. Im not saying it should be painless, but you need to know the difference between normal excersise pain and injury. I speak from experience, injuries from running can happen easily and quickly and if ignored can put you our of the…

This x100 - unless you are extremely short; but even then a 2.5lb/week loss is a little steep.

Welcome, and good luck!

You can feel sore or sorry tomorrow

I take a .5 - 1 tbsp of cold pressed virgin coconut oil. Sounds gross, but it's not bad - our bodies metabloize it quickly and it gives me the push I need to get through a run at the end of the day. Also taking a vitamin B100 can help too, and I will take a couple extra (I already take 1-2 every morning) if I am planning…

Love my glasses... Seeing is awesome!

Do your own thing and let him do his. He may come around when he sees your success, and maybe he won't. You can't force or "trick" someone into making a healthy lifestyle change. Good Luck.

No this shouldn't be an issue - there are actually programs available online that combine the two... just google it if you are interested.

Congrats on the no smoking and no alcohol that's completely AMAZING!!! I would suggest adding in some strength training, and maybe another form of cardio above and beyond walking? Also take a look at what you ate over the past few days and whether you have had enough water - it could just be bloating due to something you…

Avacado Deviled Eggs - instead of mayo use avacado... YUMMM Bean Salad - (google recipes, there are TONS out there) Rice crackers with soft goats milk cheese Raw Veg and homemade hummus

You can add me too - I love running, but it doesn't come naturally to me. I am currently training for a 5k with hopes of doing a 10k by the end of August.

I suggest physio, they can tell you why you are having such a hard time, and help treat and prevent it if possible.

I like the Nike sports bra with one of the old navy compression bras over top... it may be overkill, but it really works!
-
4-6 lbs - I avoid the scale like the plague for the entire week!!!

Another vote for the SIII - I love mine, and I do have and use the expandable memory for music.
-
I recommend Chalean Extreme

I  my SIII !!

Low sodium is good, but we need sodium to function... yes there is sodium in fresh vegetables, eggs etc. Go back to a time where everything wasn't processed and you "couldn't" add salt to your food... your body still needed it - and it came from natural foods. ETA - open your diary if you are worried about what you are…

If you are thinking about something from Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo, I would try to hold out for another year or so as I am expecting that they will all be releasing new platforms.
