COMFORT - who cares which they are! personally - I go granny panties :) But whatever you feel most comfortable in is the only right answer :)

I'm ready to have that problem too - GOOD FOR YOU!!!! Try thrift store or consignment shops - you can find great gently used clothing that doesn't break the bank :) Enjoy it!!!
-
Good luck - you can do this!!!! I am 40, no kids, but have some minor health issues including Fibromyalgia... It is hard, but it's true that exercise is the best thing for it - do low impact (elliptical, walking, swimming, yoga) they aren't as hard on your body and may be easier for you to do. You've come to the right…

That's a HUGE victory - congratulations and keep up the great work! How you feel is most important and I'm so glad you are feeling good, excited and happy!

carrots dipped in peanut butter is a fave for me! try sugar free jello cups w/ light cool whip. someone mentioned frozen grapes - delish! yogurt. plain almonds shaken in a little brown sugar/cinnamon. just a few ideas :)
-
My favorite snack lately is a Sargento Light string cheese! right around 100 cal and good for you.... the 100 calorie packs sometimes have too many carbs/sugar/fat to be diet friendly... Also - plain dry almonds are delish snack :)

I'm a bit naive I think.... what are HCG drops? And has a doctor recommended the VLCD? 500 calories a day doesn't seem healthy - seems very low.... I'm probably wrong, but concerned! April mitts1970
-
I haven't done it yet, but my doctor recently told me that skipping/jumping rope for 5 minutes is like running 3 miles! Worth a try :) Good luck and let us know what you do and how you're doing! April mitts1970

I agree - I like him too, just don't like when he gets "screechy" - it's too much for me. But I would imagine that the it's the feeling and power in his voice and performances that people really like. :)
-
Interesting... that would be good to know. I am on 1200 or less a day - I should weigh nothing in no time :) ha!
-
I can stay away from the sweets, but chips/crackers/carbs - have to keep them away or I will eat them! Maybe it's the things that start with "c" hmmmm? :)

Hi - welcome!!!! You're doing great by just starting :) Don't be scared of being here and tracking your food - it's actually very motivating and really does help. It's interesting to see what you put in your body and you'll be pleased at how much better you feel adding the calorie counting to exercise! Keep up the good…
-
I'm not big on exercising - wish I were! but I have always been told that cardio (walking, swimming, elliptical, etc.) is the best for weight loss. doesn't bulk you up, but burns calories! Good luck and keep us posted on how you're doing! April mitts1970

You've gotten a lot of great advice! My advice is this... give yourself one cheat meal a week - this would give you a break from counting and gives him some pleasure in sharing junk food with you! I agree with others that he should support you though - what your'e doing is great and is for you - no one can deny you that!…
