Okay. So MFC says I should eat 1200 calories to lose 2 lbs a week by exercising 6-7 days a week at 60-120 minutes each time. So in reality I should be eating around 1500-1800 calories if I'm going to work out like that so I will lose weight, correct? Thanks

I have a heart rate, calorie counting watch that I got from Walmart. It also tells me that 30 minutes on the treadmill I burn about 350-400 calories. Do you think I should get a new watch?

What was your diet like? Did you have a 1200-1500 calorie based on? I have tried Jillian's 30 day shred but only lost about 3 lbs So it sucked for me. Trying to figure out what I did wrong.

I'm currently 216.5 as of today. Started MFP at 228.5. Hoping to be 160 around Christmas time. Major goal is to be 130.

Awesome job. Your weight is exactly what I want to get down to. I am 5'6 and heaviest was 230, but when I started MFP 228.5. Very inspiring to see someone in the same weight range do it.

Thank you for posting this. I was a bit confused with the whole calories thing. To lose weght MFP says I should eat 1200 calories. So I've been eating 1200 calories and then working out to Jillian DVD's and walking, which can be about 700 calories. That's all I thought I had to do stay to 1200, and then burn off whatever…

Oh I feel the burn today. Did Level 2 twice today as I didn't feel up to exercising yesterday. HRM said 909 after 60 minutes at 168-185HR.

Halfway done, and weight loss has been good. 6 lbs down. I'm thinking because i'm adding in the treadmill.

I cannot wait to get home today and start day 8 of Level 1. I've lost 5 lbs, but I think that's due to me running on the treadmill as well. Unfortunately I did not take measurements before.
