:) Kristine, best wishes on your journey. A book I read that helped me create good habits for weight loss is "Better Than Before" by Gretchen Rubin. You might be able to find it at your local library. My local library does have it. Thank you, I am picking up a copy today.

I did well a year ago and then I quit smoking and put my weight back on. I figured eating was a better alternative to smoking. It's good, I have been quit almost 2 months but, I have put on the weight that I had lost. I have been logging in for 33 days but they were half assed at best. I stepped on the scale this morning…

I have lost and gained the same pounds. This time I entered my weight today and using it as a clean start. We can do this!

I did ok, with the amount of food that was around for the last month. My office is all about the food so, I just chose not to play. I planned my meals and my treats an it feels great.

I tend to eat 80/85% paleo. There are a lot of great recipies online. I try to choose veggies I have never had before and try a bunch of different ways to prepare them. Be creative and adventurous. This is a lifestyle I can live with.

I am about 3 to 4 pounds from my origianl goal and I no longer care. It was a random number and I feel great.

Nothing is ever hopeless unless you stop working at it. MFP is great if you use it. Buy a food scale and weigh everything you eat. Honest logging is key to success. You can do this!

Not quite 60 but, have found success here on MFP. I found there are no tricks ~ I bought a food scale and weigh everything i eat and I log it. And I found a gym that I love. I also have motivational quotes where I can see them every day. For me today it is, Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. Feel free to add me

I measure my age in dog years. That way when people tell me to act my age, I say I am. I am either 360 or 12. Tee hee.
