I had my gall bladder removed almost 20 years ago and I still get stones. This happens to a very small percentage of the population. I feel for you, as it is some of the worst pain I have ever experienced.

With that beautiful sly smile, I think that Adele_D is a wee bit naughty!

No ab picture from me (yet). As you all look so amazing, I thought I would ask a question or 2. I have heard that abs are made in the kitchen and not in the gym. Is this true? What do you eat to get those wonderful abs? Asking for a friend. tee hee

I get "eat a donut, already" I eat the way my body wants to eat, I eat a lot of food that I enjoy. Yes, I could eat that donut and then not have enough room to eat all of the stuff I love and enjoy. I just smile and move on.

I don't eat processed carbs, I eat what makes my mouth and tummy happy. Most carbs just don't do that for me, The way I eat, I can sustain forever. I don't NOT have carbs if I am feeling it, I'll have 1/2 a baked potato with my steak and half plate of veggies. I just try to make smarter choices. It is working for me.

I chose foods that fit into my calorie deficit but, foods that I enjoyed and could live on comfortably. If it was too hard or I hated the food, I would never stick with it. Food can be joyful and I needed to keep that.

You made a difference!

It is all about calories in, calories out. No tricks to eating shift work. Just eat within your calorie goal and it's good. Try to find foods that you enjoy and that you can maintain. If snacks are what get you through your shift then that is YOUR best strategy.

I have arthritis and I find the cold the worst. For me, the humidity helps.

Does streaking in high school count as running down the street naked? NHIE hurt someone's feeling on purpose!

I saw it and I think this is a wonderful step to the rest of your life. I log everyday - the good, the bad and the downright ugly. It helps me when I wonder how did this happen?
