Breakfast: coffee/cream & slice of cheese Lunch: Can of tuna, tbsp mayo, mustard, diced up pickle spear, 2 boiled eggs Snack: 2 red plums Dinner: 2 hot dogs w/ sour kraut (no buns); side salad w/ ranch (low carb...tho the plums were a "cheat"...but I don't believe fruit makes us fat)

That’s why I had considered the street tacos because they are generally smaller. I have never been to this restaurant, so was looking at the menu online.

Yes 🙌🏻 Love my Instant pot!!

Thanks, y'all!

Thanks! I will look into Fitness Blender.

Try low carb (Atkins/South Beach) instead of keto. I also worry about my numbers - so I try to get more veggies in my diet. But - endocrinologists and other drs do recommend low carb.

I don't get steps while driving. In fact, I get a very inaccurate count with pushing my baby in the stroller. I have to put my Fitbit in my pocket or clip it to my bra strap to get an accurate step count while out with the stroller.

I do not live in a city with a bus/subway system. But I do make conscious efforts to park further away or take stairs. As for my feet hurting, I am trying to rectify that. I have plantar faciitis and have inserts and I do stretches. I walk with my 7 month old in the stroller and it is generally at least a 2 mile walk. You…

Thanks for the tips! I will give these a go!

They do play. I guess I should give a go. Lol.

I am overweight and had a baby in December. I was advised to gain 11-22 pounds. I gained 9. I just ate like normal...and while I haven't went out of my way til recently to lose, I am down by 25 from my top weight of 263 now :) Enjoy being pregnant! Do gentle exercise. Be safe.

No make up, messy hair and cleaning with my 7 month old on my back. Haha.

Once a week make a big batch of egg muffins with sausage and veggies. You can also do breakfast burritos. Wrap me up and pop them. In the freezer and take them out as needed. Lots of ideas on Pinterest.

Hi! Walking is what I do...I have a 7 month old I push in the stroller and we hit the road every night for 2-2.5 miles. I am trying to overcome some plantar faciitis at the moment - I hope to be able to go further once that is resolved. I also LOVEEEE to hike! It's the only time I can get my older three kids not to fight…

Stability shoes were recommended for me and did the same thing!! They had me in Brooks. I am flat footed (major...NO arch whatsoever). Look into motion control as well (these were better for me). Go to a running shoe store, try on shoes and get on a treadmill there and try them out.

Well - I have four kiddos....16, 13, 10 and 7 months! Nice to meet you

It does say I burned cals but I don't think that is accurate with a actual chest strap type heart monitor? So do I need to log my exercise even though the steps are being counted?
-
It does notate my steps for the day, just not the exercise moments.
-
No I have not ever activated it. I generally start map my walk to keep up with the miles. I didn't realize there was somewhere to do start it on Fitbit.

1280 seems too low for anyone, much less a nursing Mama. Even if you are only nursing a few times a day. Even when I wasn't nursing, I took in at least 1600 a day to lose. Kudos to you for nursing past a year, btw! I am nursing my 11 week old now and plan on extended nursing. I breastfed my other boys for 34 and 26 months…

This. While I enjoy meatless meals...I am a meat eater because I enjoy it

Thanks! I am definitely not cutting at this point. He is a bit colicky, so I am trying to eat but when he is screaming a good bit, I have to eat quick. I gained 9 pounds with him and I have lost 22 since I had him in just 4 weeks. He is gaining - already up to 10.2 pounds as of a drs appt this morning :)
-
Thanks!

I definitely don't get a lot of activity in. I work full time in A/R in front of a computer but I do try to get a little walk in each day of 30 mins or so.

Good Lord! I don't want to gain weight. Lol. And we have a nut allergy here, so can't do nuts. Thanks for the suggestions!
-
Thanks :) I like the shakes because I feel like I get more nutrients than I would making my own, honestly. I do take a prenatal vitamin daily, though, so maybe I am getting enough?

I follow south beach. My endocrinologist recommended it. I think it is pretty similar to Atkins. And - I honestly do better on lower carb eating plans. I am not as hungry. I have more energy. Having said that, I can't wait to get to phase two so I can have some fruit. I do miss a fruit!! But bread, pasta and rice don't…
-
My endocrinologist actually recommended it to me. I am prediabetic and she said it was a very good plan to follow. <3 So sorry about your health issues. It is good that you know your triggers so you can avoid them.

Those are great tips! Thank you! I live in GA, us - not in a big city. And I work an hour from home two days a week - the other three I am at home. I have no excuse not to get out and walk at some point of my day. Not really close to much to walk to, though.
