Somewhere along the line I have been misunderstood. I think you should be drinking 8 to 12 eight oz glasses of water a day. I didn't mean to imply otherwise.

I'm looking for as many healthy recipes as possible. My hubby and I eat very differently. I prefer baked and he prefers fried. :ohwell: I want him to slim down with me but I am not sure how to get him to. He thinks eating healthy means you are eating "rabbit food." So, I am wanting to shift our eating habits into something…

I thought I should also add the symptoms of water poisoning just in case. The sufferer exhibits signs of crisis such as diarrhea, over-salivation, stupor, vomiting, muscle tremors, confusion, frequent urination and other general symptoms of illness. http://www.erowid.org/culture/health/health_water_poisoning.shtml

In the past couple of days I have heard from several people that they have been drinking an abundance of H2O in hopes to shed extra lbs. Well that got me thinking. The thought of drinking too much water crossed my mind so I decided to look up the issue and see what I could iron out. Here is what I found:…

In some cases you can actually drink too much water. 8-12 eight ounce glasses a day is reccomended. Just be sure not to drink it all at once. Your kidneys will have a hard time processing it all.:flowerforyou:

I've heard that a lot too! Glad this helped.:flowerforyou:

I am eating normally. And keeping it down, most of the time. So I'm not worried about my calorie intake. I was worried though about dehydration. I've increased my water intake to 10 glasses a day. And today, after reading online that I was probably losing electrolytes I started drinking Gatorade too. I'm starting to feel…

For the past couple of days I have had the flu bug. In fact, today marks day 4. Should I be worried that I have lost 5lbs in these 4 days?

You know the funny thing is. . .I didn't start out joining this group for me. I started to support my friends and now I am really wanting to stay focused. I never realized what it meant to me. Thanks for the encouragement! :flowerforyou:

First off, I know I'm jumping the gun with this. . . I've been watching my weight for a mere 4 days. (including today) I have been figuring my calorie intake and burn, and reevaluating my goals. I don't like the time frame that it is going to take to shed this unwanted weight. If I go by the reccomended time and 1 lb…

No worries! I'm not trying to cut carbs out all together. I'm just over my carb count today and I'm looking for something to munch on.

I came across this while surfing. . .http://body.aol.com/diet/basics/diet-myths 1. Myth: Calories eaten after 8PM turn to fat. Fact: This is an urban legend that is no more true than the notion that alligators are roaming the sewers of New York City, says Liz Neporent, trainer and author of 'The Fat-Free Truth.' The fact…
