No way!!! I'm 5'5 1/2 (yes, I love my extra 1/2"!!!) and my happy weight is 150 and a size 10. I'm curvy and strong! It's funny, because when I look back now at photos of myself at that weight I think wow, I was so trim! But I always thought I was fat and "needed" to be like, 120. Now I know better!!!

Well, I've got ginormous thighs that love to "eat" my shorts, so I prefer cropped leggings/tights. Try both and wear what's going to be comfortable for YOU!!! Nothing sucks more than wearing shorts while running and having to tug them down because your thighs are chafing (for me). :)

Count your steps and time your breathing...for example breathe in over 1-2-3 steps, breathe out over 1-2-3 steps. You can shorten or lengthen the step limit based on how out of breath you are. The Army taught me that. :)

I wait until they are at a break and tell them I'm just starting out and can they help me with whatever weight/exercise/machine I need help with. Oh I feel your pain! I had regular ol' teenage acne growing up, but didn't really start getting the bad ones until after I had my daughter at age 30. I really like Excelsior College. I got my Associates and just completed my Bachelors with them. Good class offerings, very flexible, and I *think* competetively priced, although I didn't have to worry about that as mine was paid by the Army. Just remember whatever one you choose, find one that's accredited!

Also, if you have flights of stairs in your building, on your break just climb enough flights to make your legs burn! A friend and I just started taking the stairs to the top floor of our hospital (8 floors with subspaces). My thighs are jello by the end and it only takes about 15 minutes!

IF your office allows it, try switching your desk chair to a large exercise ball. You'll be working your core and improving your posture without really realizing it!!! Even sitting on it for 1/2 of your day will help.

I am becoming a spinner...I love the way 45 minutes of spinning will drench me with sweat like no other workout can (for me). I love how I will rearrange my schedule just to ensure I can make my class. I love how I look forward to spinning on a SATURDAY MORNING when I would usually be sleeping in! Yeah, I'm a spinner!
