Definitely! I used to swim a lot and when I stopped, I put on weight really quickly.

That's absoluetely shocking! I really hope the poor child gets over it in time and learns to eat healthily and enjoy life instead of being obsessed by body image. She's only 7 for gods sake!!!

I really enjoyed Rosemary Conley's Slim and Salsacise. There are two workouts - one is 20 minutes and one is 30 minutes. I found this really good when I was just getting back into exercise and because they're quite dance based, I actively enjoyed them and looked forward to doing them.

I generally have quite a low calorie breakfast (about 250), low-medium lunch (250-400) and have a big(-ish) dinner (~700). That's just what suits me - I dont' like eating in the morning.

I have one punnet a day as part of my breakfast. Quick, easy and healthy! They're great!

Wow! That's amazing! Congratulations!

Muppet's Christmas Carol and It's a Wonderful Life. Two Christmas films I love!

I'm 5' pretty much exactly. I'm currently 132lbs but ideally would like to be 120lbs.

Hi, I'm from Northern Ireland originally, now living in Scotland. I think my diary's open. Feel free to add me :-)

I'm in Scotland. So far it seems ok here. Just checked the met office website and although it's going to get colder over the weekend, there's no sign of snow yet.

I'm the travelling spouse as well although my husband does go away with work once a year. Do you have any friends or family you could ask to stay the night while your husband is away? It might help your feel better about being the only adult in the house.

I've got a few motivators. The main one is that I've noticed that my periods become really irregular when my weight goes up. Given that I really want to start a family in the next couple of years, I need to get my weight under control. A slightly ligher motivator is that I haven't been able to fit into my favourite red…

Hiya. I've accepted your friends request. I'm vegetarian as well, although I don't eat much Indian food these days. I try to eat a variety of things but I'm often tired after work and can't be bothered so just throw something into the oven. I'm hoping to use MFP to motivate me to eat more healthily.

Wow! You've done amazingly well! Congrats!

I bring cereal bars, yoghurt, and dried fruit with me. Fruit's the most common as it helps bring up my 5 a day.

I started doing it a few weeks ago but since then I've been refurbishing the kitchen and haven't had the time. I do remember it was really good! I could barely do it the first time I tried, but kept going and after about three days I was already getting much better. Am going on holiday next week so have decided to wait…

I'm not a huge fan of eating in the morning. If I'm good I have a cereal bar, a glass of milk and some fruit. On a Sunday my husband and I used to have a veggie fry up which I loved. That's not happened in a while :-(
