This may turn into a LONG list because there are so many movies/specials I like to watch :) I'll try to keep it short...er!

    Christmas Vacation
    Home Alone 1 & 2
    One Magic Christmas
    A Mom for Christmas
    Muppet Christmas Carol
A Muppet Family Christmas(although the newer DVD has been cut all to crap compared to the original 80's one)
    Blue Toes The Christmas Elf
    Unaccompanied Minors
The Grinch (both the animated and Jim Carrey version)
    Christmas with the Kranks
    Deck the Halls
    Unlikely Angel
    Jack Frost
    A Holiday to Remember
The Polar Express(cause my little guy loves trains)

And of course the cartoons: Garfield, Charlie Brown, For Better or For Worse, The Smurfs, Frosty, Mickey's Christmas Carol...I'm sure there are more, but my mind is now drawing a blank. Maybe I'll go watch something Christmasy with the kids :)
  • Ok, this is crazy, I know...but I have an entire dvd case devoted entirely to Christmas movies. What can I say, I LOVE Christmas! Here are some of my faves, trying to put them in order from fave to less...but it's so hard to choose after the first 1 or 2.

    1. Christmas Vacation (gets quoted by our family all through the year, as in, "have you checked our sh***ers lately, honey?")
    2. A Christmas Story ("It's a major prize!")
    3. Muppet Christmas Carol ("Come closer and know me better, man!")
    4. Jack Frost ("Did you just call me 'butt dad'?")
    5. Elf
    6. Family Stone (I hope someday my family looks just like that one!) : )
    7. Home Alone (The original)

There are others worth watching...and inevitibly I left out a fave, but that's a decent list anyway. ; ) Have a fabulous Christmas!

The Christmas Toy. I loved it when I was a kid. I hadn't seen it in years and then I found it on DVD two years ago. Not as good as I remembered but still a good one for kids.
  • In no particular order (although the first four are the must watch, I usually end up watching all before, during and after)
    Home Alone 1&2
    Muppets' Christmas Carol
    White Christmas
Miracle on 34th Street (original) although I don't mind the newer one
    Holiday Inn
    The Holiday
    Elf
    Christmas Vacation
    Jingle all the Way
and sometimes even Die Hard 1&2
  • I watched Gremilns last night on Sky got me right in the festive mood
  • My favourite is Love Actually..

I have three must watch movies each year... I am Old School when it comes to Christmas

    1. White Christmas - Bing Crosby IS Christmas.
    2. It's a Wonderful Life
    3. Miracle on 34th Street - HAS to be black and white!

Add to that Elf, Christmas Vacation, and some Rudolf.... and cannot forget the Grinch Cartoon
