  • Jennifer_417 Eating ice does Not cause anemia but contributes to it. Just as consuming large amounts of ice tea also contributes to anemia. It is a pica, a craving where you eat things like clay or paper, things of no nutritional value. There's no reason why but it is associated with iron deficiency anemia.
  • Also in my 40's, love the addition of new friends. Feel free to add me
  • Watch the ice, eating too much ice contributes to Anemia.
  • I walk to Leslie Sansone's videos and always burn over 300 calories. Today I did 2 miles and burned 488 calories according to my Heart Monitor. I love her videos, check them out if you want to shake up your routine. I cannot walk outdoors where I live so these are a great way for me to get my workouts.
  • Don't let it get you down. Pick yourself up and try again tomorrow. I often have days like that where I just feel like I want to eat, even though I'm not hungry. I believe that's why I have gained all this weight. We all just need motivation and support from eachother in order to succeed. Good Luck!
  • I tried Isagenix, UGH! disgusting detox days and made me soo sick. It was Waaaaayyyyy tooo expensive and just plain didn't work at all for me. Stay away from it!
  • Always looking for New MFP friends and Motivators :) Anyone feel free to Add me.
  • Night shift 7pm-7am 3 nights a week. I personally just back my days up if it flips to a new day. I have had no problems with this. On days that I don't work I just log in normally. I usually get home and to sleep no later than 10 am. I will sleep until 2:30-3:00pm and try to work out at least 30 minutes as soon as I wake…

  • Hey, don't get discouraged. It sounds like your on the right track, I would try to adjust your eating habits and include more fruits and vegetables and definately cut out the sodas and the processed junk foods and see what happens then. I know I cut out soda and saw weight loss almost immediately. Try to drink water, at…
  • I H-A-T-E my thighs and my calves!!! Right now my thighs are so flabby and out of shape from weight loss and it is disgusting to me. And I have always had big calves, from sports, even when I was thin, so I despise them too. I'd love to be able to wear dresses and skirts but NO way with these thunder, jiggly thighs.…

  • so far I'm just having to tighten my current bras 40 D, but I don't wanna lose any off my boobs or my butt for that matter and my jeans are kinda saggy in the butt now  so I think if I buy a smaller size I won't notice so much. I hope  But I would double my sports bra during my workouts, that's what I do.

  • Thanks everyone. I am definately looking into the weights. My nephew is a state arm wrestling champion and he has also given me pointers about weight lifting so I am going to start soon.
  • I've made this with an orange cake mix and added a TBSP of fat free Cool Whip and it is a great dessert.
  • I joined June 2012 but slacked off mostly until this January 2013, but I am down 30 pounds and I definately see progress. This is a great site for inspiration and motivation. I love how it makes me accountable for what I put in my mouth. Yes I'm sure some people could lie, but you'd really only do yourself an injustice.…
