I have been doing both. Tracking points and counting calories. When I run out of either one, I quit eating. Must say that when I quit counting points and stuck with calories, I was not having as much success, so went back to points and am very happy with the results I am getting now.

I am limited as the the exercises I can do. I routinely ride a stationary bike, but keep hearing that doing the same exercises everyday is not good. Should I be taking off days in between? Or is it alright to ride everyday? I typically ride for about an hour a day.

I always have a bedtime snack. I think that calories are calories whether you eat them at noon or at 10 pm. You still have to burn the same amount of calories.

I do this all the time.....so frustrating. I sit down to read a book and cannot stand not to have something to chew on. I have been trying to chew gum and drink water. That way I am chewing and I am getting a fuller stomach. Tonight I cut up s zucchini and am eating zucchini pieces. Very filling, but very low in calories.

I think a lot of it is learning portion control. You can eat what you like in moderation. Otherwise, you can't possibly keep it off after losing. And choosing healthier foods. It is all a learning process.

I am having my struggles too. Trying to figure out the correct amount of calories to eat in order to lose. I have lost inches, so that is good, but am really trying to take off about 25 lbs. I should say 24, since I have lost one pound. Good luck finding what works for you and making it a lifelong change.
