  • Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for. I didn't see a but spike at the beginning really but will be cautious when adding towards maintenance.
  • Sorry, that was in response to someone replying questioning the 'woo' response. It confused me. I don't feel I do too much at all...
  • Thanks all. I have lost it fairly steadily-only 1lb in the first week. Am I exercising to much?!? That would surprise me!
  • I have coeliac disease and I would urge you to push for testing if you think this may be the case for you. Coeliac isn't just about an inntolorance to gluten-it's an auto immune disease and has some very serious consequences if mis-diagnosed. As a previous poster said you need to still be having gluten for the test to be…
  • Swimming! But only if you swim fast and hard with little break.
  • I think it depends on what makes up our breasts really. I breastfed for 3.5 years in total and started with DDs and still have DDs. I have lost 13lbs so far and almost at goal, so never had huge amounts I wanted to lose, but still. Personally I feel a little rediculous with them this size, and my waist it now 26 inches,…
  • I agree, do some excercise to show off the muscles under your tummy but it doesn't sound like you need/want to lose weight. For what its worth, I have gone from 150 lbs to 136 lbs currently and I still have my curves :) It just depends on your body.
  • I'm sorry you are having problems with your back. I have had a lot of issue with my back and damaged disks. I am now 'stable' and doing well, but it can be a balancing act. I take maganese supplements and also tumeric which I think really helps. Also extra protein powder and for me, starflower oil helps me too. When mine…
  • It sounds as though you are already eating healthy foods, why not just cut portion size a bit? Either that or do some more excercise on the days you go over to balance it all out? Find an excercise you *love* doing and do that. I swim, and its not just for excercise, its because I need it now as I love it so much. So find…
  • Oh. My. Word. I can't believe so many people can even buy guns....no wonder guin crime is up in the US if guns seem to be given out to everyone. Very glad I live in UK!! Eeeeek!
  • I think you need to look at your mental health as it seems you may have body dismorphia (seeing your body as different to how it truly is). In your profile you said you want to loose weight to be loved, this made me sad. I have been there too a long time ago and its not a nice place. As mad as this sounds, I am sending you…
  • Well I've lost weight, and gained muscle with swimming. I find freestyle doesn't work my whole body as well as breaststroke as its only really working the arms and the leggs are more for balance. I swim a mile 3 times a week in about 40 mins no breaks. It's working for me! I also use swim gloves for half my laps and I…
  • I used 100% hemp powder, I don't want anything added to my protein powder as I try to eat a cleanly as I can. I think its great and has the perfect balance of omega 3 and 6 in it.
  • I swim! I go 3-4 times a week and do 60 laps in about 40 mins breaststroke. I love it. I also use the webbed gloves to do more arm work. My fastest and PB is 16 strokes to get to one side to the other. I love swimming so much!
  • I haven't had the time to read everything that has been said, but there is certainly some good info in this thread. I am vegan and have been for 8 years now. The one thing I would say is try to avoid soya/soy products if you can. Fermented ones are ok, as they use the whole bean but the milks and other products only use…
  • I use the hemp protein powders as there is nothing else added to it. Also I have some split pea protein too in case I run out :)
  • Thank you everyone. With regards to eating like I did before-To be honest it was all baby weight that I just never shifted, that and home baking treats. Since I have cut processed sugar things there is no way I'm going back there so its looking for other things. Nuts is a good idea, but I do love my fruit! With regards to…
  • Also eating back exercise calories will not hinder your loss. If you set up MFP accurately, then it is already at a deficit which means even without excercise you will loose, so you need to fuel your body too!!
  • Hi, with regard to the laps swimming, it depends how much effort you are putting in. If you are swimming constantly and getting your heart rate up then, yes I'd say you could eat those back. There are a few great posts around here concerning BMR and TDEE etc. which are useful to have a look at when you are just starting. I…
  • Ah typo- goal is between 135-139. I have been feeling fine, really good and to be honest struggling to eat as I just don't feel all that hungry. I'm sorry the food sounds disgusting! I like it :) If you look back in the diary a bit there are wayyy more fresh fruit and veges but I was going so much over my sugar that I cut…
  • I am vegan and I use Choc Oat milk, 1 banana and a scoop of Yaoh hemp powder as my protein shake/breakfast every day :)
  • Hi there, I have been vegan for 7 years now and vege since I was 3. I LOVED cheese. But actually once I made the transition I never found it difficult at all. At first all I did (I was at uni) was get an organic veg box once a week and based my meals around that, so lots of stir fries and stews etc. with brown rice or…
