What a difference! I just realized I didn't know what your start weight was. Now I know how hard you worked. Congrats!

That's wonderful progress! You should be proud - congrats.

For an 8 lb loss, it's such a big difference! I'm at 160, 5' 4" and don't look as good. You are doing very well. I guess doing Insanity or any other exercise you want to do will only speed up the process for you :)

Inspiring - thanks for sharing! I started my weight loss after a weigh-in at the doctor's too and was at a similar weight to yours, so I feel a little more motivated after reading this :)
-
Gotta try this - thanks!

Found it by googling: http://www.bellplantation.com/nutrition So, 5g for the peanut butter and 4g for the chocolate peanut butter per 2 tblsp.

Great job! You should be proud :)

Looks like you not only lost weight, but took years off your age. Inspiring - congrats on the hard work!

It just happened to me last Wednesday. I am a real klutz so I thought I am the only one who gets into these mishaps. I was doing bench press with 32.5 lbs dumb bells. I was really exhausted. When I sat up, I lost grip on the dumb bells and when I tried to prevent them from dropping, I banged the fourth finger of my right…

I use Garden of Life's Raw Protein which is vegan. http://www.amazon.com/Garden-Life-Organic-Protein-Grams/dp/B0031JK96C I think it's soy-free. It can be a little chalky so you have blend it really well. Taste-wise - it really depends what you blend it with. I like it especially since Whole Foods had it on sale for $18!

That's a great goal! Doing different stuff in between definitely helps prevents boredom. (Sorry, I edited my post a bit after your reply)

I started by having a main goal (besides fat loss). For me it was building strength as well and learning a routine which would allow me to build muscles once there was sufficient fat loss. So I do weights/strength training 3x a week. This is my constant. I keep track of my progress with a spreadsheet so I can keep focused.…

I just learned about parkour when I caught American Ninja Warrior a couple of weeks ago and I think it's a great show of athletic ability. Your son looks great in the video - I hope he continues working hard!
-
What a difference - you look amazing. I'm hoping the weight-training will do the same for me!

Can I add all of your as friends? Loving all the cat pics! I have to learn how to post pictures so I can share pics of my cat. Will try tomorrow and bump this thread in the process :) You all deserve this:…

I make a simplified version of African Peanut Stew (with chicken or fish). You can also make peanut sauce and use it with noodles.

Sorry to hear about the Crohn's disease. I don't have it and do not do the specific carbohydrate diet but I love reading this blog: http://www.roostblog.com/meet-caitlin/ The writer's husband has Crohn's and they are on SCD to great success. Good luck!

Almost? I'm female, 39 years old and 5' 3". CW 169 and GW 130.

You look fantastic - congrats! I had about the same start weight so it's inspiring for me!
-
You look amazing - congratulations! I just started lifting but I can't decide whether to commit to NROL4W. This might just do it!

Hi! I am in the Bay Area - feel free to add me!
-
You look hot. Nothing but great things to say about the pics and your journey - congrats :)
-
Bumping because this is giving me inspiration and I hope to hear from more lifters. I started lifting about 3 weeks ago and my biggest issue is that I don't push myself enough so I am slow to increase the weights. But I am learning a lot from this thread, so thanks!

Just read this - great info - thanks for sharing!
