Serious problem

Not really, but it's annoying.
Since I started strength training I cannot tell you the amount of times I've smashed, banged up, and or otherwise hurt my fingers. I've smashed them in between plates, dropped plates on them, and pinched them.
Tonight I really hurt my finger. I was sliding a plates on the leg sled and shoved the plate using my hip without realizing my finger was there. ?$**@+ that shiz hurt so daaaamn bad. Then I had to play it off like I wasn't phased because the gym was full. I wanted to run in the bathroom and jump around screaming like an idiot, lol.
Anyone else this clumsy?

It just happened to me last Wednesday. I am a real klutz so I thought I am the only one who gets into these mishaps. I was doing bench press with 32.5 lbs dumb bells. I was really exhausted. When I sat up, I lost grip on the dumb bells and when I tried to prevent them from dropping, I banged the fourth finger of my right hand between 2 dumb bells. I didn't realize how bad it was until I got home. It was all purple and swollen. The next day it got even worse - I though my skin was going to burst from the swelling. It was so painful but it's better now. I started lifting again yesterday but I still have problems with some grips like for dead lifts.
So no, you are not the only clumsy one. I am probably topping that list0
