  • Well given that we bred some dogs to be these weak parodies of their ancestors, it's only suitable that we dress them. I never did it and never will but I can see how some dogs would require it, and the question should rather be why the owner decided to get a dog with short fur or cut it if it's freezing where they live.
  • You have my support, Ambassador ;) I wish I could see all these born skinny smart *kitten* if they had my metabolism. Half of them would be beyond morbidly obese, no disability needed. I envy the genes but they have no right to say anything.
  • I'm no expert (at all) but this sounds more like a strength or toning routine. If you just want to lose weight, find some alternative to treadmill, why not look up cardio exercises? Kettlebell exercises and squats burn so much more energy than arms ever can.
  • Nice post. Way too much fear mongering and too little sense goes into that anti aspartame agenda.
  • I sometimes feel inadequate, like I don't do enough valuable things in life. Then I come across people whose only concern and purpose in life is themselves, and what to call their silly sexual or fashion preferences. I guess by this quiz I'm an outdated 20th century male, because I was meant for greater things than just…
  • I love this =p http://media.veryfunnypics.eu/2014/02/funny-pics-what-are-you-doing-on-the-14th-of-february-legs.jpg On a side note I've been begging someone to tell me this for ages, how do I link images on this site? Like so that there is no link but just the image.
  • You probably just look uncomfortable and lost. If you confidently walked in and started setting weights they wouldn't care, at most talk to you. I don't think they were being sexist or anything so don't be mean, and it's just the vibe they got from you, they can't possibly be in the gym at all times so they can't tell if…
  • If you and your brother are on good terms you should ask him first. If you are on bad terms or don't speak, screw it go for it if you want to. Most people would feel weird to get with someone even their friend had called dibs on let alone brother, I mean they slept together, but if you think it through and it doesn't…
  • I increase my calorie limit by at least 500 cals for exam periods. You burn energy stressing and thinking a lot, and personally I get up earlier each day and go to bed later, a longer day is bound to be more demanding right? Exercise to make the stress go away too so... Popcorn is the best snack, and lollipops or gum.…
  • Stomach and chest :o I have alright face, legs, arms, back, and given my broad shoulders it's hard to tell I'm fat or just big if I'm wearing clothes. Take that off and poof, FAT.
  • I wish I could still be addicted to it =p It was so easy to keep a good diet... But I had to drop my caffeine addiction, and sadly there are non caffeine diet sodas but anything with sweeteners other than pepsi max tastes like garbage to me.
  • I think nobody in their right mind can say that diet cola is "healthy". It's obvious that water and other are a lot more healthy to drink. There are no real visible drawbacks to this though. Just compare this to smoking, a lot of people smoke right? And they know 100% well that it's damn unhealthy, and they can see the…
  • Thanks ;) That's very useful. I tried looking for this info around but most people seem to just bash on the inaccuracy as compared to actual data and heart rate monitors... Totally not what I cared about. The cost isn't that big of an issue, so long as I keep it outside those very fancy $200-400 ones I've seen around, and…
  • Yeah that's how MFP works for me, it's an eye opener and makes me be more conscious of my calorie intake. I was hoping the tracker will do the same but with calorie usage. I don't really care how accurate it is, so long as say I have day 1 normal and day 2 with activity, I'd like to actually see the tracker report…
  • The wage on Fast Food should be low, that means that it will be an employment for young people, 16-24 be it school leavers or college goers. A staff turnover to let them all have a shot. It's not a job you're supposed to stay on for life, and if you do treat it as then accept the wage. it's manual and requires no skills,…
  • This woman is obviously a complete as*****. The poster itself is fine, whatever it's actually pretty catchy, but she shouldn't get jealous of other women getting attention, and a lot of the plus size models are ten times healthier than her skinny *kitten*. They are nearly always actually within a healthy weight, we are…
  • I have that too. I can feel the difference and I look better with clothes on, pretty much healthy and your average guy but mentally I know I still don't look well and I suspect I won't lose my folds and belly fat until i hit the middle of my bmi. Not even the tip.
  • Mushrooms go well on sandwiches or on the side of meat, they have low calories and enough flavor to be considered good in your food, but keep in mind they also have hardly any nutritional value, so they are nearly empty calories. Also what I do to avoid having to use oil with them: 1. Cut off the very end of the stem, its…
  • Ah thanks for the bump meeper the the article blytheandbonn :) Sooo as for calorie burning it goes Butterfly stroke>Freestyle> Backstroke and indeed swimming is a good exercise ^^ I found out around that there are no set workouts but one can rest easy for 20-30 seconds every 2-4 laps as the pulse tends to stay high that…
  • If he really wants to meet up as friends then what does it matter. You don't ever care about how your friends look and their weight no? If he has at least a slight hope for some relationship though, he brought it upon himself and I'd let it be. A guy should expect that if he invites a girl out she might not look and be the…
  • I blame my home cooking. Healthy, but fatty, had me bigger than most kids since the early years. Neither did I neglect to eat nutella, sweet cereals, chocolate, crisps and coke. Most kids do that though, and I would be fine too if it wasn't for that combination with home cooking. Up to that I disliked soups... and at 12…
  • hisbeautofula in strength training it is popular to have short breaks in between high intensity workouts, and maybe in cardio it would work too, ya know instead of running consecutively for 2 hours, have 6x20 minutes with 5 minute breaks. Keeps the body at that hot burning state for longer so makes sense. But no your liver…
  • Anything not recorded is for me a cheat meal :) unless it's insignificant 1-10 calories from a tea or something that I usually don't bother with. Last time I had a cheat meal was at a party, ate in moderation but so many various things and so many things I wouldn't guess the name and quantity of I just gave up on counting…
  • Oh please, I was the one that taught those classes!
  • As Kate said you can cut 100-150 cals from the next few days or do some exercise, but you don't need to. Just learn from it and move on, you may not lose anything from a week worth of dieting but it's not the end of the world.
  • You dated someone with a rapist mindset... Try to get over it, in my personal experience I'd lose some weight, motivates me a lot even if it's just a small number and barely visible on the body, like I have a surge of self confidence for weeks after stepping on a scale and realizing I'm doing better or after feeling much…
  • Often times I eat bad food too. Sorry OP but get off your high horse, not everyone has the means or the money/lifestyle to afford to switch fully to grilled chicken and veg but a lot of people want to lose weight. You do it healthy? good. But still respect the people that don't, because they care equally about how they…
  • I'm the same. Take no pleasure in watching some teams play and never had any interest in remembering the players names. Even when it's something individual like say the olympics and it's some countryman of mine on the podium, It's just something to look at and a bit of admiration but doesn't drag me in enough to watch…
  • How do I post images on this site? >.>
