  • Ah sorry for not being here, had a family issue and twisted my ankle again when I fell off the bed (lame I know), but ah well... Been doing qigong, x stretch, ab ripper x, and yongchun training in replace of my workouts, hopefully by next week I'll be able to do 'week 3" and just make up for week 2 another time.
  • Day 9: P90x Plyometrics, and gotta make up for the last 30min of chest and back, going to do my usual qigong and some wingchun tonight.
  • P90X Day 8: Classic- Chest and Back, Ab Ripper X, Karate later tonight, and some Qigong. That's my schedule today, make up for the weekend, haha... Have a good week everyone!
  • Day 7 P90x: Stretch X, AND I'm doing Cardio X just for the heck of it. I had a master Zumba class last night and it was amazing. I did Kenpo X and some of my own Wing Chun workouts. Today I'm shaving my head and renewing my vows, and will be meditating most of the day, but will be sure to get my stretch and cardio x in. =)…
  • A note on kenpo x. If you point your toes back when you do a forward kick it is actually good techniques as when you hit something you'd want to hit it with the ball of your feet. When you do a sick kick, then point your toes down and pretend your hitting your target with the space between your ankle and lower leg, or the…
  • Day 5 update: I actually injured my legs yesterday and instead of doing legs and back I did what I could on my legs, and the pulls up, plus some martial-arts ands stretching to make up for it. I just configured my 30min of stretching and 30min of karate opposed to a p90x full work out. Day 6: Kenpo X. - I just finished my…
  • Day 5 Work out plan: Legs and Back, Ab Ripper X, Wing Chun/Shaolin training, and some nunchaku/sword practice. Preparing for an upcoming martial-arts tournament too, 20th of this month. Oooh yeah!
  • Hello there sir, I'm going to be testing for my Yellow belt (Karate- Okinawan Shonen Ryu), but I have a Orange belt (equivalent to Brown belt) in Tang Soo Do (for my school), a 2nd Degree Black in Hapkido, and over 15 years of experience in Snake/Crane style Shaolin Kung Fu, I'm also training in Muay Thai, Wing Chun,…
  • Great job to everyone who has made it this far!!! Yoga X is certainly one of the hardest work-outs on the p90x scale for many of us. Day 4: P90x - Yoga X, Preparing for Karate belt testing this weekend, more Wing Chun and Shaolin training, and that'll be my work out. for the day =)
  • Day 2: P90x Classic- Plyometrics!!! My favorite, who doesn't love to jump?!!?! Oh and some Wing Chun practice and nunchaku practice today. =)
  • Ah don't feel intimidated, I'm here to push all of you to be better than I, and to always do your best and never give up!
  • Day 1 p90x Classic: Finished chest and back strong with a total of over 250 push ups, 50+ pull ups, and sweat from head to toe! Before that was a nice walk for over 2 miles, and tonight will be Ab Ripper X and my Karate class (3 hours worth of training).
  • Starting p90x over with classic "week 1" now, then onto ab ripper x, will post "before photos" soon. Anyone feel free to add me so long as you plan to stay in contact =)
  • In martial-arts we practice holding a rod (between 2-4 feet long) out in front of us while in a horse-stance for as long as you can hold it, or just set a limit (3 minutes at a time until it feels like nothing to you), and of course push ups... There are many various types of push ups you can do.
  • Thanks for the advice everyone. I'll do a little bit of everything for sure! Especially the upper cardio and water-exercise. I really love Zumba, but don't think my heel is ready for it yet.
  • Haha, Canada huh? Well I was just up there in June (Calgary), nice place... Come beach-side sometime!!! I'm sure getting out of the cold would be nice. =D
  • Hi Ron. =D
  • Yeah it's free-running basically, and helps your core like nothing else! And no, my hair doesn't turn yellow... yet. LOL
  • Well, if I eat it all, I'd just need to work out for the next 100 years non-stop and I'd be set =D
  • I'd say it'd only be rude if they could directly hear you. You're wearing a headset so there's no reason for them to ultimately complain. I see people talking to themselves all the time in the gym, but no one bothers to complain. I'd say no, don't worry about it, do what you want just don't get too out of hand. =)
  • There's a girl who posts an on-line work-out schedule, her name is Zuzanna and you can find her site here: www.bodyrock.tv and she's defintely in inspiration for many of my lady friends! Zumba is awesome for burning calories! But if you happen to live on the beach find a Zumba class that goes on the beach too! Incorporate…
  • Awesome! Well I don't have any other cd's but p90x. Also we don't have the book that gives you a list of which cd's to do what day based on what work out, we actually lost it... like the toning, weight-loss etc... But we are cool for anything. What were you looking to do? Or just random cd's?
  • I've been using P90X for awhile now, but I don't mind restarting since I never was on any set routine, I'm at the point now where I can do 2 cd's in one day, sometimes 3, along with my martial-arts/parkour/biking. But nonetheless, if I start the actual program with you that'd be awesome. Just keep me posted. Me and my…
