  • Great work everyone! Ugh, the 1 hr glucose test is just around the corner for me. Has anyone already done theirs? I don't mind the drink, and I don't mind the lab draw, I just feel so judged by the resulting number. :)
  • I used to have my calories set to loosing 2 lbs a week, and I changed it to loosing 1 - so that gives me a few more calories but makes me feel like I'm still "dieting". I figure it will even out with extra water weight. I hope to gain no weight, or even loose a pound or two through the first trimester. 2nd and 3rd I will…
  • Congradulations everyone!
  • I add zero calorie sweetener to my greek yogurt and it tastes great - Equal or SweetNLow, whatever. Yes, I know those aren't natural and have their own issues - but I figure the fact that it lets me eat the healthy greek yogurt balances out.
  • Well, I suport the comment about anything that isn't food since I supose that's the whole point of celebrating progress on a diet - but I have to admit I love the Yasso frozen greek yogurt treats - it's like ice cream and a decent portion size but only 70 calories and has some protein.
  • Hi, great work on what you have accomplished so far, just keep doing what seems to be working! I have a pedometer (Striiv is mine but there are plenty of others) that tracks how many steps and stairs I take and how many calories it figures I burn that I wear all the time for daily activies. It is interesting to see how…
  • All the above fish / chicken / salad ect sound great - I also like Butternut Squash as a side dish. Keep up the great work everyone!
  • The above being said, if there is something that seems to be working for you, by all means keep it up if you really think it is working, and congradulations on the progress.
  • Alli is the only FDA aproved weight loss pill avaliable over the counter. It binds the fat you eat in your gut so that you poop it out. If you don't use a very low fat diet it gives you serious GI issues - but it is expensive and you could just follow a low fat diet in the first place with the same results. Many of the…
  • I completely understand what you mean. I loose the same 25-50 lbs every year (and gain it right back). This time I swear I'm going to make a more sustainable change and keep logging on here even in my maintance phase. Good luck! You can do it for the long haul if you have the ability to do it so many times in the short…
  • Awesome job so far! Sounds like you are doing great! When I don't have the time to actually work out I just try to move a little more through my daily activites - parking a few spaces farther away in the parking lot than I otherwise would, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, using the hand basket in the grocery…
  • Good luck! You can do it!
