Goals and rewards. Any ideas?

I'm sure everyone loves a little reward for doing well! I have been trying to think of small goals for myself, I have around 15lb to go so maybe every 5lb? Anyway I usally fall into the trap of of I have done really well today lets have a cookie...or three. I don't have lots of money to spash out on spa days like some websites suggest. Any ideas of what my rewards could be? Or what have you used to treat yourself?

I've heard of people putting $1.00 in a jar for every day that they workout. Once they reach their goal weight, they take that money and treat themselves to whatever they'd like.
I personally like to reward myself with a yummy non-fat/sugar-free coffee maybe every 2-3 weeks as long as I am working out regularly.
If you enjoy reading, possibly go out and find yourself a good book every 5 lbs. lost.
Or, if you listen to music when working out, maybe every 5 lbs. lost you can treat yourself to a new music playlist. A new CD, or purchase new songs for your MP3 player. Whenever I get new songs on my iPod I get excited to go workout so that I can listen to all my new songs.
Idk, just some thoughts that came to mind. It is pretty difficult to find a reward that doesn't cost much money.Haha.

My reward is usually shopping. Since I am losing inches, I need new clothes, but hate to spend too much while I'm transitioning. We have a great consignment boutique nearby where I can get nice used clothes inexpensively. When I reach a milestone, I treat myself to one new thing. I have mini-goals and big goals. When I reach a big goal, I have donated money to a favorite candidate or charity.0

Girl, one word. Clothes. You're gonna need new ones anyway once your rocking your schmexy new body, right? I'm not talking blowing 100 bucks or anything. Just something small like a new tank top from Target that wouldn't fit, or maybe just a pretty necklace from Old Navy. Old Navy clearance racks and Forever 21 have been my small rewards from day one. Always gives me motivation to put the cookies and pick up the weights. Of course, I'm a shopaholic and I would literally sell my house and live in my car so I could use my mortage payment to buy more clothes (if I didn't have a family, of course), so this might not work for you.
Seriously, anything small that isn't food. A cheapy mani/pedi, a new lipstick, a trip to the movies, whatever. Anything that isn't food.0 -
I love those ideas kailyn, and completely agree about the new songs thing! As soon as i get a new playlist i'm straight on the treadmill! Shopping is a good one too!
Perhaps you could treat yourself to an expensive beauty product or a new pair of shoes/handbag... whatever you really enjoy or fancy!0 -
Well, I suport the comment about anything that isn't food since I supose that's the whole point of celebrating progress on a diet - but I have to admit I love the Yasso frozen greek yogurt treats - it's like ice cream and a decent portion size but only 70 calories and has some protein.0
