Feel free to add me as well, Im a sophomore at Wisconsin and I probably drink too much beer for my own good. I'm trying to stay in shape this year unlike last year.

19, I don't know how many pounds I need to lose, I stopped using a scale. I'm going to be logging everyday though, so add me if you want!

I don't recognize myself anymore. I get treated differently (better) but I still feel the same way I did 40 pounds ago. I guess I can relate to what you're going through. It's just a very sudden change and I'm not used to it. I guess I still see the same person I did when I was overweight, except everyone around me sees…

Incoming freshman at UW-Madison! I'm not sure how I'm gonna keep up the healthy lifestyle, although I get a free membership to a gym across my dorm haha.
-
From Milwaukee, will be living in Madison next year at UW-Madison!

Growing up in a house where it was acceptable to be overweight and to eat junk food on a daily basis, but the minute you started getting thinner, you were handed more food to "stop being so skinny".

Oh my God, another Badger! I'm so excited, move in day is almost here and I can't wait! On Wisconsin!

I'll be a freshman this fall at the University of Wisconsin-Madison! I'm going into pre-medicine studies and going to apply to a physician assistant school in four years. I'm also double majoring with French as well! Anyone here can add me, I always like making new friends haha.

Since losing weight, people that normally ignored me started talking to me, acquaintances wanted to get to know me and strangers are much more polite to me upon talking to them. I don't consider myself attractive but I feel being thinner/more fit has made people nicer toward me. I guess it sucks that society judges on…

Aww thank you! :) I just hope I don't come across as ignorant because I'm not a parent.

I agree with that, because denying kids fast food/unhealthy foods COULD result in a whiplash (Can that even be used in this context) But I feel like many people here are being defensive, as many of them are parents. I know healthy eating is usually more expensive than the cheaper alternatives, but I think the OP has a…

I'm crying lmfao

I don't know why they do it, but in my family, I fell victim to the junk food alternative. I used to laugh at kids when their parents wouldn't let them eat fast food or drink soda, but now I wish my family was stricter on my diet. Right now, they all think of me as a stick, and they constantly say I should "gain weight"…

Whatever sounds good! One night out with your friends isn't gonna cause you to gain all the weight you lost, let alone any weight gain unless you really pig out haha. A cheat day every now and then is a GOOD thing. However, I agree with he post below me, the spicy tenders sound good.

I've lost about 40 (About 35 on MFP) and compared to before, I'm always freezing. On top of that, people treat me way better than before. t's really sad that people are more likely to approach me or be nice to me just because I lost weight. The positives include the less sweat I create when exercising or even being outside…

^^^This. Don't get too comfortable, because sooner or later you go from one week off to a month, and then all your hard work soon goes to waste. It's happened to me before.
-
I started last year on June 11th at about 190 pounds exactly. I worked out nearly everyday with a rest day here and there, and I ate healthy. That's it. Some weeks I lost 5 pounds, some I lost nothing, but now I'm about 152. I got to 155 in about five months.

Sobleman's? I've never been there. Where in Milwaukee is that?
-
Holy crap you said Candy Cane Lane! You must be from Milwaukee! Haha! Great post!

It depends, but when it comes to things such as the common cold or a sinus infection I tend to get better quicker if I actually do exercise. Of course I don't exercise as hard as I would if I wasn't sick, but I still exercise.
