Going to a resturant - Help me choose what to order

Hi MFP friends,
I am going out for a girl's night tonight and need some help deciding what to have. I have 709 calories to eat. Ideally i'll eat 500 or so at the restaurant and then eat some yogurt or fruit when I get home if I need to polish off my remaining calories.
I've already told myself no wine!
Here is the menu. TIA for any help you can offer.

Something from the secondo piatto section is probably your best bet or get pizza/pasta (tomato based sauce only) either to share or have half to take home and a side salad0

Whatever sounds good! One night out with your friends isn't gonna cause you to gain all the weight you lost, let alone any weight gain unless you really pig out haha. A cheat day every now and then is a GOOD thing. However, I agree with he post below me, the spicy tenders sound good.0

Thanks everyone... not really keen on a cheat as I am travelling this weekend and next weekend and want to be as good as I can for now!
I might order the steak without the whipped potato and get a side of ratatouille (they don't have a plain side salad).

Looked over the menu and now I want the mezzo plate for 2 or the antipasto quattro....0

I would go with leaner proteins and light on the creamy sauces, pastas and breads (not that I'm anti-carb, I just find that carb portions in restaurants are usually too big and can't stop eating them once they are in front of me).
If money is not an issue, maybe beef carpaccio as an entree.
The wakannui beef fillet is shy of 8 oz. You could eat half and maybe take the rest home if you can do that there. And perhaps ask for a side of vegetables instead of potatoes?0 -
No wine? The words are English, but they make no sense. :frown:0
