Sometimes I have a hardboiled egg or two as a snack when I'm trying to keep my sugars low!

What about those people who walk down the street holding hands and have no interntions on letting go or walking single file for even one second so you can pass? ugh.

I too have hit a roadblock too and I'm not quite sure why. I'm thinking it's probably that I need to kick up the intensity of my workouts. Either way, don't be discouraged. I have days when I feel down on myself too, but being discouraged always seems to do more harm than good. Be proud of your accomplishments because you…

you can buy it at Whole Foods or the Vitamin Shoppe! Yesterday I made matcha green tea crepes! Still looking for more ideas though!

yum! that does sound good. so far I made my own green tea latte with it. I kind of want to make some cakes or breakfast items with it too!

I love the heat! Except when I have to wait on a subway platform... or have to run outside and can't because it's too humid...But warm weather never lasts long enough in NY!

I'm 4'11" here, weighed in at 146 lbs 4 years ago, am currently 123 lbs, and hoping to get down to 105!

congrats on being able to get your surgery! I read your first post and then both of your updates and I'm happy that this is working out for you!

one of my fave things about summer in NYC!

i have definitely heard of that before! I haven't lost any weight in a long time but my clothes are fitting smaller. I'm hoping it's just because I'm building muscle! Have you taken measurements using a tape measure as well?
-
i have the same problem too! I can go up 5+ lbs in water weight one day and it won't go down for days. and you KNOW you couldn't have put on 5 lbs in just a couple of days!

My name is Meghan and I've lived in Queens for the past 2 1/2 years and work in Midtown. Before that, I was a Long Island girl! Almost a year ago I made a commitment to be healthier and exericse more. I've only lost 10 lbs since then because I fell of the wagon a little bit from November until April. But I didn't fall off…

I was thinking of celebrating my goals was by putting a dollar or two in a jar for every time that I work out, and either using the money I save after I completed my goal to buy a new outfit to go out in and celebrate or a polar heart rate monitor

I know what you mean! I feel like even though the numbers on the scale haven't changed in awhile for me, I am gaining muscle and feeling much more solid. I'm losing the "jiggle" in places and feeling much more toned, but I have been at 123 lbs for awhile. I've decided I should probably weight myself less often so I don't…

my current weight is 123.5... I know what you mean though! It's hard for us short girls to get it all to come off! I really want to get down to 105 though
-
still looking for more short girls to fight this fitness battle w/ me!
-
I just hate when people are like, "How does the world look from down there?" I don't even know how to respond to that! But I love being short! It's definitely easier to have short friends on here though because most people who are taller wouldn't understand why I'm complaining about being 123 lbs!
-
any advice for kicking the sweet tooth?
-
you look great!!!!

bump!

wow so many good exercises!

I agree as well, but I'm still working on the fat loss thing! I want to be lean and msucular! I understand the diet (even if I don't follow it as well as I should some days) but now I need to understand the strength training part! I've spent too much time doing cardio!
