How do you work towards weight loss by a deadline?

So I'm giving myself a goal of losing my remaining lbs by June 10th, which is 60 days away. What do you do to make sure you get to a goal by a certain date? How do you celebrate your achievements, take measurements, and countdown? share your ideas with me! I want to find ways to be excited and motivated every day, with my approaching goal in mind. I want to celebrate my achievements. I know a lot of people don't believe in giving themselves deadlines, but that is not the question here. I won't be going crazy if I don't make it, but I want to make sure that I'm excited to work towards it daily.

My goal is to just slim down by the end of May. I weigh myself once a week, but the scale doesn't help me much since I have more muscle than fat wich weighs more anyway. I keep those too small shorts handy, and try them on each week. 3 weeks ago, I couldn't pull them up my butt, now they cover my butt like low riders (LOL). So far I have lost 7lbs. When I started, I was 193lbs, now I'm 186lbs. I am a size 12 at 5'4". My numbers dont make sense at all, but hey, I should be a size 10 at 175lbs - 180lbs which is all I want. I love my curves, they look good on me. I dont really celebrate my success, im just glad im losing the weight.

I know what you mean! I feel like even though the numbers on the scale haven't changed in awhile for me, I am gaining muscle and feeling much more solid. I'm losing the "jiggle" in places and feeling much more toned, but I have been at 123 lbs for awhile. I've decided I should probably weight myself less often so I don't forget that even though the numbers aren't budging, I am getting toning accomplished! I'm still keeping my deadline in mind though because I would like to see the scale budge more!

I was thinking of celebrating my goals was by putting a dollar or two in a jar for every time that I work out, and either using the money I save after I completed my goal to buy a new outfit to go out in and celebrate or a polar heart rate monitor
