Mostly I do that in the line at Subway when I see the person in front of me order a tuna salad sandwich and then add extra mayo, and I mean alot of extra mayo. It makes me gag a little. But then I think like yourself it's the mayo that I am judging not the person.

You might want to try swimming, it works out alot of the body while being low impact. Also, offers a good burn.

My workplace there is constantly donuts and my neighbor brings mini candies to put at his desk also there are vending machines everywhere. I post my meal plan in the AM to make sure that I don't exceed my calorie count but weight until after I have completed my workout to enter those calories but that is because I'm not yet in a routine so there is no garuntee that I will do the workout that I have planned.

Lick others have suggested I drink herbal tea when I am sick of water, I like herbal tea because there are so many different flavors it's easy to switch it up if you want something sweet there are flavors like passion fruit or orange.
