I have a cheat day once per week for about 3 months now and I am not one who believes in deprivation. My cheat day includes no exercise and eating something sweet ( normally). Sometimes I don't need a cheat day so I don't exercise. Having a once per week cheat day helps because normally I don't cheat or eat like I used to…

Start using a tape measure. Hope you continue to lose inches, not just lbs. I started losing in June, 2012, and am giving myself until 7/11/14 to reach my goal of 130 lbs. I use the tape measure to ward off discouragement when I plateau.

I would start with sugar intake. I now use Stevia or try to have natural sugars from fruit. Stay away from fruit juices and soda. Good luck. This site is great. "Awareness precedes change.":flowerforyou:

It was probably the food. Try starting with a soft diet for about 3 days If you haven't had heavy food for while it will take some adjustment, or maybe it's your body's way of saying you don't need it, . . .ever "yeah"!

My goal weight is 130 lbs., but I've been stuck at 165-170 lbs for 3-4 months. Down from 265. Haven't sen 130 lbs since 1985. Was 160 lbs in 2004. I wear size 12s and 14 (most are too large). Goal is size 8. I have a small frame and am 5'2". :flowerforyou:

When my granddaughter was 3years old we lived in Arlington, Texas. Her preschool talked a lot about "healthy foods", and "healthy choices". She is 8 years old, skinny, and very active. She is and has been in an unhealthy food environment. I think education is the key, but you must start early.

Hang in there. Weigh yourself once per week. It works for me when I am able to do it. Remember muscle weighs more than fat. I've never done this workout but I workout 5-6 days per week. I'll be 60 soon, I have about another 50 to lose. This has not been a great week but I exercise to balance. Stay active and remember that the goal should be to get healthy.

It is my experience that people need you to be a certain way so they can feel good about themselves. Stay in touch with your body and your doctor.
