@lemurcat12 Thanks for the reply - insightful

When I ate eggs I made these babies - a mouthful of heaven. The little ones in my family love them :) http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/brunos_portuguese_70548

Let us know how the recipe works out - I've been wanting to have a go at this for a while :)

I've had seizures since birth - I came off the meds last month as my epilepsy has now been diagnosed as PNES. OMG what a difference. It's like a big wet blanket has been lifted off my body. When I was on the meds I was fuggy and tired all the time. Now I am off them I really cannot believe how much more energy I have. For…

If someone said that then it's not the word - it's just because they are bloody rude!
-
@lemurcat12 why do you find it insulting? I'm curious. The word clean is used in lifting I believe? Is it the same for that? I'm not trying to be a smart *kitten* I am genuinely interested in why....

Buy some Jus Roll and low fat sausages then freeze them? You could shove them in the oven when you take a shower so they are fresh and yummy :)

Hey there. This is obviously difficult and frustrating for both of you. Like another poster said why don't you put a lock on a cupboard until you can control your cravings and then have more harmony at home? Stress can be food triggers too so a little peace may help all the family :)
-
I agree with the above posters - from what I have observed it's an umbrella term for various diets that are generally wholefood and less manufactured foodstuffs. Everyone is different but with a common goal if you like....

I'm a flapjack fan too - unfortunately I have yet to find a recipe that has low calories and still tastes like a flapjack (rather than a cereal bar)! There are a few recipes on the BBC Good Food website that use fruits to bind but none are what I what consider 'low' but lower. Have a look you may find one you like :)

Nice :) Also half-lifes....I look at some sources quoted (all over the net in general) and wonder - is that still right?
-
No I think you misunderstand me or I'm not putting it across very well. The opposite. A word can have different meanings to different people...um...."fit" has very different meanings to different people...I'm not sure that is a good example but it's late here ;)
-
Not big into guessing right are you? Don't assume.
-
Mmm you could well be right about the female one and the two articles. My comments were a general poke of my dislike about what is considered linguistically correct or incorrect. I'm a great believer in not telling people what's wrong and what's correct about language and terminology. Different words mean different things…

Teff?
-
That's what was confusing me - now it makes sense - it's not the weight that's divided Thanks :)

I must be the only plant eater in the world that hates falafel. I use stuffing mix instead and it works a treat. A lot easier too :)
-
No don't sticky it. I use the words toning, building, strengthen, muscular... all of them and they all mean the same thing to me. I'm sure I'm not the only one who understand the ideas behind words. If someone wants to use the word 'tone' to get fitter and healthier then there is nothing wrong with that.…

She isn't mentioned here much but Delia Smith uses mostly natural stuff - check out her website it's pretty comprehensive and I've used her recipes since I started cooking as a teen (a long time ago now!) x

Nuts?
-
That's great advice thankyou :)
-
And I put 4 litres of added water in the recipe builder?
-
I've made a huge pot of veggie stew today and was going to do this method but then it occurred to me it wouldn't work because the weight contains a lot of water (plus some lost in cooking ) - have I got the idea wrong here?
-
If you are on Facebook look up Vegan Eats n Treats. It's a great bunch of people who just post what they are having for their meals, no drama or politics (it's heavily monitored) - you could get some ideas from them. It's droolworthy :)
-
Interesting - thankyou

May I suggest you join the UK group on here then if you have any questions I'm sure someone will know the answer :)

Where in the Uk are you moving to? Locals here maybe able to help :)

I was thinking about this last night (whilst walking uphill ;) ). If there is effort and resistance doesn't it build muscle? Like dancers, some of them have fab muscular legs...Or cyclists?
