  • We are the same age and about the same height (I'm 5'3"). My average weight loss has been 1 lb. per week although the first month I lost 11 lbs. With a sedentary lifestyle MFP has set my calories at 1,200 and I rarely eat back any of my exercise calories. I recommend a heart rate monitor to determine calories burned while…
  • 23 pounds in 56 days is fantastic. We are the same age and it has taken me six months to lose 25 pounds.
  • 30-day shred is a great workout but my knees can't take the cardio (jumping jacks). So I get on my spin bike for the two-minute cardio segments and that is working out fine.
  • Looks like 4 servings.
  • Perhaps you can find one that's comfortable at www.brasmyth.com. They sell AA–M cup and everything in between.
  • I log my meals and workout daily. Spin at home with a video on my iPad each morning before I leave for work. I use the iPhone pedometer app to track my progress when I walk my dog. That's Snowball and me in the photo.
  • You look fantastic. You are an inspiration to others.
  • Hi, I was born in '52. On Mother's Day, my husband lost his year-long battle to cancer. During his illness, I was focused on caring for him. I stopped working out when he got sick. Now, I'm doing what I know he would want and that is taking care of me. MFP is a great resource for staying on track (so far, at least).
  • Adjust the seat height so that when you are in the saddle with foot in the stirrup and leg extended your knee is slightly bent. The handlebar should be approximately at the same height as the seat.
