Hey, I don't have any tips, but I am with you on feeling pretty awful after carb binge last night! I binged pretty hard on chips, hamburger buns, and cake. It was my husband's birthday so that was the excuse (I think I'll have to give up on excuses soon). I gained 6 lb overnight and feel hungover even though I didn't…

Just curious because I'm trying to avoid dairy, except…

Perhaps you could join the running group but focus more on the training aspects of it? If you were focusing on training at the group rather than on the people maybe your anxiety would be bit less? Do a couple of races on your own and see how you like it. Then as you go to more races you'll most likely meet people. Give…

I was diagnosed with mild chronic gastritis two weeks ago. I avoid dairy, high fat, and spice foods. I like mint tea a lot, and super ripe fruit. I also avoid uncooked vegetables.

I don't know if you're still checking this thread, but my advice would be to work on your running form. Practice good posture and try to run silently are good for starters, and check out some youtube videos and/or running sites. I noticed my abs strengthening as I ran more with posture in mind, you should be relaxed but…

^this!^ I weight myself but want to add a a little to the scale reading because "it can't be right"!

I've been thinking that this might help too, cutting the dairy and wheat that is. I've heard calcium helps with weight loss though, so maybe eating foods with extra calcium to help with the loss of calcium from dairy will help. Hope it helps :)

I"m on the last 14 and they are soooo stubborn! I am still losing but at a snails pace of 0.2 or 0.3 per week! I did have a bug just down not too long ago but I'm kind of thinking that my scale messed up that day lol. I'm going to weight myself again soon. I am lacking the motivation that I had at the beginning, I find…

Awesome! I have a few avocados in the freezer I've been trying to find a use for. Smoothies will be great.

Sorry for the late reply, I've read your post a few times now and it really is helpful. Thank you for all the advice. I've found that dairy is definitely a trigger food for me, I might have told you that before. I am working on a few others. I'm going to try peeled carrots, if that works I would be so happy because I…

I am going to try nuking the veggies for a minute. Maybe tomorrow morning I will pick up a pack of baby carrots before work :)

Out a bunch of antibiotic lotion on it so you don't get an infection.

That is interesting to know. I am starting to train for a half and plan on losing weight while training. Do you do consistent cross training such as swimming or weight lifting? Does this help with weight loss?

I've been practicing putting my head under the water while swimming at the pool and this summer I'm giong to be one of those people in a sexy swimsuit who runs and dives into the lake!!!!

lol I agree! when the cinima offers healthy snacks at a fair price I will stop sneaking stuff in. For now I'm transfering everything to my big purse

Yeah, it's pretty much the dairy industry and recommending this, not so much the government. Meh. I stopped eating dairy a while ago. I find I have more energy and less stomach aches.

I'm 5'10" and weight 168.9 lb. I eat about 1800-2000 a day and almost exercise daily. I've lost 8 lb so far. My goal weight is around 150 lb.

No this is great! I forgot about applesauce, I'm going to get some. I'm not a huge nut fan, I do really like almond butter on bananas though. Pineapple and peaches work for me too. Sprouts would probably be good. I'll have to see if I can find bean chips, never heard of those. I think they would be great for the…
