It's not though is it, for me and my three kids to eat at McDonalds you'd be looking at around £13 for one meal. I spend £60 a week on all our meals, toiletries and cleaning products so £13 for one meal really isn't 'cheap'. Also, I have never found McDonalds to satisfy, everyone's hungry again within an hour.

YOU'RE surprised by judgemental people? You see snapshot of the way other people feed their children and judge. One of my children won't eat boiled potatoes and peas but she will eat all other forms of potatoes, a ton of other veg, fruit and salad, she hates any form of breadcrumb coated 'child food'. My other two kids…

I would and have still logged them. You don't know how much has been digested and vomiting as a way to rid yourself of calories is called bulimia (yes I am aware that's not your intention but it can be a slippery slope for some).

Quite obviously the better answer would have been to 'upgrade' to a new model of wife that was up to the standards he had come to expect.

It has a chest strap and the heart rate seems to be right, I have always had a high heart rate anyway. Just seemed a high calorie burn but I don't plan on eating all my calories back anyway so won't worry too much.

My HRM said 400 for cardio so I suspect it's way off!

I would like to lose at least 10lbs by the end of the 10 weeks (I'm a slow loser) any more would be a welcome bonus!

Griddled asparagus, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce.

When everything else in my life fell into place and I was happy with everything but my weight.

Same as PP's have said I would leave it but could you have a snack before your bike ride and then dinner when you get home instead?

I don't 'do' guilt around food so my definition of guilt free may differ to yours. Current faves are: 100 cals of savoury popcorn 100 cals of dark chocolate Mini Twister ice lolly 45 cals

Unless you have medical issues don't worry too much about sodium, it may have a temporary water retention effect but that's it.

I eat the odd one if I fancy something a bit more 'luxurious'. Their Eat, Live, Enjoy range is good too and much cheaper (usually 3 for £6).

They're smart ads based on what you shop for and browse, not MFP's fault. My current ad is for life insurance.

The quorn sticky fillets are really nice cold with salads or they do a 'Roast Style Sliced Fillets', 99 cals for half a pack, which are ready to eat that I often have for lunch (3 for 2 in Tesco at the moment), good with Ainsley Harriot ready flavoured couscous, around 190 cals for half a pack (2 for £1 in Tesco at the…

Me too, it was just an overweight one  I eat when I am genuinely hungry now, sometimes that's twice a day, sometimes it's eight times a day. It's more about what I eat than when I eat it.

Your profile says you have IBS, you're not overweight so losing weight won't help the IBS bloat, get your diet under control (as in types of food) and see a doctor about the eating disorder you're cultivating.

Exactly, I add people who have similar goals or interests BECAUSE it's a fitness site, not people who just want to have 1,000 people on their friends list to perve at. I like my friend list small enough that I know who people are and what they're doing.
-
Nope and I ignore any friend request that doesn't come with an explanation as to why they want to add me. I also ignore 'hello cutie' PM's, you know who you are...
-
That's a great boost. The whole 'you look great so don't need to bother any more' thing annoys me though, if you want to stay looking great you need to work at it!
-
Yeah, what 'Swallows' said is worth noting, I gained weight on Slimming World because it allows you to eat 'until you are satisfied' with things like pasta, eggs, rice and potatoes which is easy to abuse when you're used to an overweight lifestyle. I like calorie counting, it eliminates nothing and teaches me portion…

You've lost 6lb in 3 weeks which is great. How far under your allowed calories are you going? They're there for a reason, eat them.

I always liked the idea of Rosemary Conley until my friend went and was put on 1000 cals a day. As you have a free pass for 12 weeks I would do Rosemary Conley for the exercise class, recipes etc you'll get but I'd take their calorie recommendations and throw them out!

Insanity is much more about measurements, inches and photos than scale weight, ditch the scales while you're doing it or you'll drive yourself mad.

Make your own entry, call it 'Francl27's almond milk' and don't tick 'let other members use this food'. Sorted.
-
Did you log all the cocktails that made you vomit? It was yesterday, forget it, start fresh today.
-
Forget it. Tomorrow's a new day. Avoid the scales for a few days, you'll be fine.

You are getting them, the 'instant result' of not eating enough is that your body will rebel

Because your body needs a certain level of fuel to function.

Another member very helpfully resized it for me! Thanks all :-)
